Here are the project files for this week's YouTube video. This is how I use midi devices to overcome my shortcomings in terms of music theory. Please let me know if there are any issues with the files. You may not have some of the plugins, but everything should play no problems as I have frozen tracks with third party plugins.

Hey Mark, hope you're good bro. That's right, I try to get them up at 15:00 CET every Sunday. It seems that YouTube really places a lot of importance on this being the same day and time for each video. Somethings things come up and I have to do it slightly different, but I aim for the same time and each week.

Hey Steve, thanks for commenting and for the suggestion. It's a great idea and something I would love to do in the future. I have so much respect and appreciation for each and every Patron on here. I have definitely considered this and I would like to do it at some point. There are a couple of problems right now that prevent me from doing it. The first thing is that the channel is still pretty small. If I post videos here first it is basically taking views away from YouTube and from probably the most regular viewers. This is going to be significant for the YouTube algorithm and will mean there are less views on the videos, likely they will be from people who might watch in the first few hours which is very important in determining how much YouTube will push the video. Unfortunately at this stage it would be quit detrimental to the channel. The second, and much more significant thing, is that I am often right down to the wire to get the video up in time on YouTube as it is. I spend a lot of time filming and editing each video and I just don't think I could keep a promise to post it early for Patrons each week. This week I am on tour in Mexico and I really didn't want to let this community down by not posting something so I worked my ass of to do 2 videos the week before,. But it's not sustainable to do it like that. I try to post the project files early for Patrons as a small bonus / preview, but honestly sometimes I even struggle to do that. I posted this earlier than usual as I had done the video in advance. In my mind I was adding value to the community by doing it a day before. But I can see by the response that, without some kind of explanation, I kind of made it confusing. I hope that sheds some light on the situation mate. Best, D
