Here are the files for this week's video "PRO LEVEL DRUMS for Underground House and Techno". Made with Ableton Live Suite 11.2.IMPORTANT: Please remember, the project files are intended to assist your learning from the video. They are for educational purposes, not for anyone to download and release as their own work. If you want to use a preset or some midi or a drum element etc in a track, you are welcome to do so. Hey Dilby ... Great tutorial ... thank you! I tried recreating the drums before you provided the project download. I used the 909 kick that came with Ableton, however it doesn't match the 909 kick used in your project. Even with no processing on both. Your kick is more punchy and loud. I tried recreating your kick by increasing the audio volume of Ableton's 909 kick audio file but also noticed the waveform is slightly different. Any advice on choosing 909 kicks and where best to get them? Obviously I'm seeing now that not all 909's are created equal. Thanks again!

Hey bro, the one in the project is from NI Maschine library. I didn't do any processing on it. My suggestion for kicks is find a good either in a sample pack or sampled from someone else. And really for Roland drum machine sounds (808, 909, 707, etc) just find a set that you like and stick to those. For me, I just use the ones from Maschine 90% of the time but I know a lot of people swear by the Gold Baby kits. I have better things to do than process 909's all day so rather just find a good version and stick to that 😂.
