Please tell me that's just a bit and you still have the drawings, especially the TarBoy concept drawings. I would pay lots of money to have the TarBoy concept art and preserve them!

I try not to throw my drawings out but I don’t think having them in random corners of my room helps me much lol

I personally hold my art on a little corkboard to show off my work and every few months I switch it out once I'm done with another sketchbook, the rest go in this folder I have. Idk I'm currently in the state to where when I look back on my drawings, even from like 7 months ago, I can't help but be still surprised on how far I've come, it gives me the best dopamine boost

Back in highschool I threw away my some of my old drawings, but it was for a different reason. I didn't have a very good step mom growing up, so I was forced to throw them away because she claimed it just "makes my bedroom look like a mess". I remember my dad was pissed at her when he wondered why I tossed away all my doodles and sketches that day. I still have some old drawings though, just not all of them including the ones from my art class during senior year. Thankfully, I never have to see or hear from her again, and I have a new step mother who treats me miles better than the previous one.

I also purged a lot of physical drawings and filtered through a lot of photographs I had after scanning them at high DPI, the feeling came about me by instinct then as I was near completion I was forced into a long distance move where I would've had to throw them out anyways. Thankfully I managed to preserve everything that ended up needing to be tossed. It taught me that just because you have a physical representation of your drawing doesn't mean you won't be forced to give it up at a moments notice so I've been much more on the ball with scanning and backups ever since.
