This really shows how much you put into every single shot. You walking on cinder blocks to get the best reference for the movement killed me, simple but effective solution. Awesome share really appreciate seeing some of the magic!

@ericdirector

This is compelling to watch regardless, but it's somehow more compelling knowing that it's not public. It feels like a glimps into the level of effort that is not always visible with a polished product.

SkeleTrain

Love how you compose shots and backgrounds in your videos. There’s so much detail that can easily go unnoticed that I really appreciate. Super cool to see your process!

Nikki Booth

I didn't realize so much of it is YOU! Awesome body language and expression

Brad Phillips

Absolutely beautiful dedication. Cannot wait to see what else is in store. And maybe a sneak peek inside the new "lair" 🫣

TheOnlyJP

Truly a work of art. If anyone says that making these videos is easy, this video alone proves otherwise. Blood, sweat, and tears…he says it himself. From shooting to editing, from music to VFX, you truly put a lot of time and work into such a wonderful piece this world can enjoy.

shydx2010

I used to not know if your snappy, precision movements were a result of editing. After watching this, I recognize the effort and practice for those movements, and it makes me appreciate the effort and passion you put into these videos even more!

Wrinklycat

OMG YIPPIEE!!!!!!! Everything's so beautifully crafted I've always been so curious on the process!! I'm so glad you're getting some more recognition.. 💕 Big W today 💕💕

MrMelons

Amazing stuff you’re doing here mate. I can’t believe how well you’ve mastered your character. From body language to movement and the designing/animation just keeps getting better! I’ve been watching your vids for a while and I really appreciate the blood, sweat and tears that you pour into this channel lol.

Petrichor

The labor, love, and other bodily fluids that go into this are astounding

iDemonShard

Truly a master at work! The way you use such simple shots and turn them into dynamic scenes through VFX is truly incredible. Where did you learn how to make content at this level? Did you go to college, take courses, get mentored, or were you all self taught? Either way, you make fantastic stuff and I'm happy I get to support you! 😈

Marley

I hope my money goes into buying more cinder blocks

Kev Ryan

I thought maybe seeing behind the curtain would spoil the magic somewhat. If anything it's made your work far more interesting! I love how you use your space to create your work, how creative you get with the camera placement and prop usage. Great stuff altogether, and I'll be sticking around as a result.

Ash

holy shit james, i don’t think you realize how goddamn talented you are

korpusxkrissti

Absolutely blown away by how cool this is. Watching you at work is mesmerizing. 😳

ThatDovahkiin

Love these "peaking behind the curtain" videos. Gives a pretty good idea as to why these vids need a lot of time and care, and why you're the best at it.

Hyggelig Haven

It's amazing to see your process! It just goes to show what someone can achieve with a solid vision! [And green screen, lights, a good camera, and knowledge in editing/3d software... but that comes with time 〜(￣▽￣〜;)] Love your content, and keep at it!!! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Mic Man

you've out done yourself Mr Lee....this will indeed be the fruit of your labor ...a tree of ancients that will last for years to come....and it's offspring will fall onto the ground of this wretched world and flourish into a new age...nothing will remain of the old/new world as it will crumble down into the dust...nothing will remain...except for the Forest of NOX....the roots run deep and wide...fires may burn...trees be lopped...waters may come forth and lay waste and may the earth shatter and crumble...but no matter...for the forest endures and thrives again...and it will conquers everything in its path every inch of land there is...but for now...we must let it grow...for if there was a future...a part of it is safely in your hands my friend.

Make it real Miushy-chan!

yeah boii, amazing share! but wait... Arent you a Stylzed character IRL?! jk! hahaha Awesome, we got your back, keep sharing us your art / vision of this world!

Grendel.Risen

So well done. It takes serious outta the box thinking to be able to take so many different elements and force them into something so comprehensively cool. And you did that by yourself. I can't wait to see what you can do when you can delegate some of the minutiae out. Keep growin. Your shadow backers are watching, and smiling, in anticipation

Lady Butcheree

It's so interesting to see the behind the scenes on the crazy shit you produce! I love the exaggeration you give your body/ expressions! You inspire the fuck outta me!

Aaawhyme

Love your stuff so much, it's so good! It's just so good aahh

Whakada Bellgate

Finally i have at least a little Idea how you animate your Videos. Thx Dude

Yacha

This was great to watch, can't wait to see more behind the scene like this!

Nova Sulprizio

awesome! it's amazing how much work goes into the initial filming, you can really see how you blocked out what's to come. incredible.

Jamiethecomic

You're patreon video was the very first I found sand I've never signed up to a patreon so quick before.

Orange

It's so cool to see the another step in the breakdown of your videos. So much work goes into them and it absolutely shows! And once again I got chills from the ending. VFX breakdown or not, the ending of the patreon video really sparks the creative spirit in me! Thanks for showing us this :D

FuzzVega

Hey James, what lights are you using with your green screen?

Dong Brûlée

Love you man, whatever you need. I hear harlequin ladybirds are easy to farm these days.

Don PinXote

Shit, man. You really know how to move. Love your badass, creepy, dark punching style.

Kelly

FUCK THIS IS WAY TOO HOT

Wolfers

Can i ask why you have TWO glasses. One with Green, and the screen vinyl ones? I assume the green ones are so you can layer whatever on there without fighting feathering.

Wolfers

FYI your lighting is SO DAM GOOD.

Wolfers

-Hand shaking- G..Gah.. GREEEEN SCREEEN !!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!

nath

Fuck... I've been waiting for a vfx breakdown so I can learn... and it only showed me I am so far behind that I cant even begin to recreate. You are an artist.

Garpocalypse

nothing like a disembodied head next to your green screen to get the vibe just right. It's that sort of thinking that puts the JL ahead of the game.

William Holland

seeing the "demoralization" face is like seeing Jim Carrey doing that grinch face in an interview and realizing it wasn't CGI
