Thanks for answering my question! I can’t believe our bloated military budget hasn’t caught on to this! I have a friend who served on USCGC Polar Star whose sister ship is used for parts. What concerns me is the Chinese have been doing more ice cutting missions to Antarctica because we do not have the capability!

I have a question how likely is china to invade Russia instead of Taiwan? Since the west would mostly likely step in on Taiwans behalf wouldn’t Russia who’s bogged down in Ukraine be a better target? With all the problems in china leading towards its implosion the only real route for XI is to re-establish control by winning a war, and since they’re iffy on taking on the US wouldn’t Russia be a perfect target? They were planning on stabbing them in the back anyway.
