Here's a question: which of China's actual neighbors DON'T hate China? North Korea is not an option since it is China's puppet / vassal state. 2nd question: Does Xi not realize it is more strategic to have at least a couple neighbors who like and support you, you know, like if you have plans to conquer the world? (Even Hitler had allies in Mussolini and Japan's Emperor). Then, once you conquer the world, you can back-stab that friend that helped you get there.

After the current malaise, that of China being front and center thinking itself a world power, what it will come down to is that China will be a battered old shoe, water soaked and beyond good use. A blathering old shrew with no where to go but down. At least as so under the CCP.

I will predict that it will break up like the USSR and you will have the creation of several different independent countries including: Xinjiang, Tibet, Manchuria. Inner Mongolia may opt to reunite with (Outer) Mongolia. Wealthy states of Guangdong may also become independent countries which Hong Kong may join if they install a democratic capitalist government. Taiwan will officially be recognized by most UN members. Taiwan can also finally relax (along with Vietnam, Phillipines, India, etc.). This is not a pipe dream. It's not about WHETHER the CCP will fall, it is about WHEN the CCP will fall.
