Unlike Communists, when something isn't working with the system, the Taiwanese try to chance the system from within.

Why did the people vote for the China sympathizing parties then? Now, they're taking a strong stance? Better late than never I guess.

I've since checked out Holly's channel and watched a few Newspeak videos. Thanks for the heads up!

From what I understood, the opposite (against china) party has held control for years. If they voted for candidates that declared be oposition, it could be that the candidate lied and did the exact opposite in the chamber.

Like a rhino? They vote against their own party? I thought they got a minority government this time and two of the parties are China simps, which outnumbered the party in power and were able to pass this bs bill.

How are these pro-CCP candidates getting elected? I'm pretty sure over 90% of Native Taiwanese want nothing to do with CCP or Mainland China. Is there some election rigging taking place in those districts where the CCP won? How is this accomplished?

Question for the show. Your Taiwan coverage has been very interesting but from the outside Taiwanese politics can be confusing. How has the KMT, formerly the authoritarian anti-communist party become the main pro-CCP party? What are the different divisions and interest groups voting for each party? The protestors and DPP voters obviously skew towards the young and educated but what demographic and interest groups support unification and the KMT?

I like the post it note wall. How do we amplify it so the CCP takes note?

Lies, manipulation, bribery - all the things the CCP likes best.

Do you think guns can be a protected right in the Philippines?

Thank you, I'll wait for the answer.
