Ah dunno, but a lot of highly placed Chinese in the US (science, math fields) are going aback to China. In ways they are the dummies, ie, trusting the CCP and they are not as good as Jensen Wong of Nvidia. No way Jose there...

Slow strangulation...the CCP is too nervous. Lightning strike...30% of their missiles go off in the wrong direction...really. And chaos...or immediate attacks on the US. Ah, remember the Battle of Midway...and for the denouement...pretty marching troops can't deal with chaos...just can't.

2027 was never in Xi's plans, he doesn't want the invasion/war to potentially still be "in process" when they assemble to chose the next head of the party in the fall of 2027. It has to happen in 2025 or 2026... Or 2028 or later.
