The world has always turned a blind eye away from the oppressed until it comes to their own country. Hitler was excused as he took over country after country. French have not ad the gumption to build up defense. The English were lucky that a channel happened to stand in Germany's way. Stalin and his bloc murdered and oppressed tens of millions and not one country would criticize them. Hell, they did and still blame America for the cold war and not playing nice. Communists have been allowed to do this for over a hundred years now. Dictators much further back. The US is not perfect but good Lord there must be some line where "sovereignty" of a nasty government should be trumped by human life. The CCP should not be above reproach just because they happened to be in charge. I am in charge of my household. It does not mean I have the right to beat my kids and dog.

Question. What is the latest you have heard regarding the rewriting of history books to bring the Cultural Revolution back in style? My wife is reading that it is all good now.
