In this episode of China Uncensored, we talk about how Beijing is able to do that, how Presidents Trump and Biden responded to the national security implications of China's involvement in the company, and what TikTok says about its connection to China. OMG, you mean...YOU MEAN...they have THAT STUFF!! (Actually never use it...and anything I have seen is innocuous.)

You might add all the time that the Chinese slavers rape women and men.

D

So Trump was right?

Wow... Shocker. The really scary thing is they are making a VR headset and people are going to connect it to their home network via WiFi or connect it directly to a PC.. and people attacked ME just for warning them. I don't understand how someone could even consider using this. At literally any time it could download attack code and take over every single thing connected to your network. How completely inept can someone be!?

Huh? If you're saying China doesn't use apps it owns to attack western targets you are very much mistaken. I run infoSec for a robotics & ai firm. AT LEAST 300 times a day they attempt to break into the network. Thankfully I'm really damn good at what I do and when I have time (about an hour) I will locate the origin of the attacks (generally all in the same building for that attack using a VPN) and I get satellite images just to see what the building is connected to and then I got to work and when I'm done every single system in that building is dead and will never boot again. Well every single one connected. Ooops

I was talking about TT and how most the shit on it is just loony tunes and I don't know how that would win a war...but your story is interesting. Sounds like what happened to me when I was working in a Microsoft lab and we knew one had to be quick setting up new computers as we were always being attacked and I always was quick but once I got blasted...that have been a deltree back in 2002. Lost everything. But deltree works different today. You can comment if you care.

the same thing happens when you connect your phone to your car. suddenly, the data brokers have all your contacts and know much of your location history.

d0x

Not even close to the same. I'm not talking about them getting contacts or location data. I'm talking about using the HMD to literally hack devices on your network. Not hard to have a firmware update to that contains a 0day exploit for your PC and then they can use that to do basically anything you can think of with your PC. Or they could install something on your router that can't be erased. They would also have pretty good quality video of anything you look at using the HMD. So they would be able to map your house. The have proven time and time again that they can't be trusted. It's not that bytedance wants to do anything evil it's the fact that any company in China is beholden to the CCP and must do anything they are told. The Chinese people don't want to do anything to your systems... It's the communist party that does.
