Not that kind of black...-Chris

There are millions of illegal children in China. These children are illegal because their parents decided to keep them despite the one- and two-child policies that ended in 2021. These children live without a legal identity, hukou (household registration) or access to basic services that the rest of society enjoys. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at what happened to these children (often referred to as "black children" in China), China's population trajectory, and what the current family planning policy is. Do you think the CCP will ever have a chance of joining the OPEC nations sometime in the future? I can see the CCP wanting to join the group (because of course they want to), but I've no idea how likely the party becoming an OPEC member really is.

I feel for the "Black Children" and the "Left Behind" children.

I keep seeing stories here and from the ADV guys about the imminent collapse of the Chinese economy. Yesterday I saw a story that the Russian economy is also on the brink. The EU is cutting food production and will likely freeze this winter. The US economy is also in deep trouble. Is there anywhere safe? I don't see it.

If some countries have disorder so make less machinery, like due to power problems closing factories, then those unaffected make hi profits. US corps don't want to admit but they're making good money and long term getting contracts while 3rd world sorta expects EU to stop making stuff so can't contact safely with them. And mideast too seems reliable...

Mainly going to go with predictions by Zeihan for this one. Despite a need for building and retooling. The US seems to have the least problems when it comes to getting industrial and agricultural capacity up and running. Especially since we aren’t really effected by the demographic collapse that other countries are dealing with

Ask yourself...does China have oil to export?

Ian Pendleton

Depends on what they find in the South China Sea. Even if they mostly use whatever oil they find for domestic use, I can absolutely see the CCP using the fact that they're an oil-drilling nation as an excuse to try and force their way into OPEC. Being able to influence the global price of oil is something the CCP would love to try and obtain for themselves.
