There has been a big movement in the investment world to screen investments based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. While it's good investors that care about the impact of their investments, what's not good is that those same "woke" investors are funding China's human rights abuses and environmental destruction. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at the "responsible" investing strategy of some large investment funds, what Chinese companies those funds are invested in, and why those companies are bad investments for anyone who cares about ESG. 20 Signs China's Pollution Has Reached Apocalyptic Levels | China Uncensored https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwOBRH56Ic0 China Is a Democracy Now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXYzksBM64Y YouTube demonetizes our channels, we need your support! https://www.patreon.com/ChinaUncensored https://chinauncensored.locals.com We also accept bitcoin! https://chinauncensored.tv/bitcoin Buy our merchandise! https://chinauncensored.tv/merchandise China Uncensored on Odysee https://odysee.com/@ChinaUncensored China Uncensored on Rumble https://rumble.com/c/ChinaUncensored Make sure to share this video with your friends! ______________________________ Subscribe for updates: youtube.com/ChinaUncensored?sub_confirmation=1 ______________________________ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChinaUncensored Facebook: https://facebook.com/ChinaUncensored Instagram: https://instagram.com/ChinaUncensored And check out the China Unscripted podcast! https://youtube.com/chinaunscripted #China ______________________________ © All Rights Reserved.

Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia and the French overseas territory of New Caledonia have both been agitating for independence, and Chuuk is set to have a referendum on the matter sometime in the next couple years. If those islands do become independent nations, what do you think America's chances are of keeping their governments from falling into the CCP's sphere of influence, especially given the missteps by the Biden Administration?

Blackr0k have to be one of the most hypocritical/virtusignalling "investors" in the world.

I booted the Blackrock Mutual fund I was holding. Buh Bye... See ya! I hope anyone seeing this does the same.

Man, I had a question that would have been totally relevant to this video, but I never came around to posting it - I posted a few through messages but that obviously isn't the right approach. To what degree do you think these are investors actually expecting returns vs. getting cash from new suckers so that they can sell off their own lemons and get out of the Chinese economy? If I were a slimy investor with any sense, that's exactly what I'd be doing - so are they just not seeing that the time for playing along with the CCP messaging is over?

About the Freedom House grading, how could China get -2 on political rights? Do Chinese have political obligations instead?

Question: China still suffers from humanity's greatest war. Its Civil War from 1850s until now. Do you think that a formal signed end to this awful Civl War by both Taiwan Nationalist and CCP, could help bring these Chinese Brothers back together again: Peacefully. At least symbolically.
