Just today I was reading that same article by CNN about how nearly 20% of young people in China's cities are unemployed, and that Beijing wants to send 300,000 of them (for now) out to work in the fields for the next 2-3 years. Assuming that the article is accurate and the CCP decides to go ahead with that plan, how well do you think it's going to go?

Can your spell "C-u-l-t-u-r-a-l R-e-v-o-l-u-t-i-o-n"? But maybe not, This population knows so little about anything...outside of HK. Because once this happens and it goes bad..,the other parts of society are "corrected". Communism is the total misuse of power.

Mike Rowe would disagree with Chris on...education. So would I...but that's for the US. My wife's first husband was sent to the country to work. I think it was after that he won an award for top mathematician in China. he then became a university president. I've never asked him just what he thinks of the government, his and my ironic attitudes fit well enough together. Anyway, he knows many different plants now...and is proud of it.

5:49...desperate people? Until they start beating the shit out of police...they are not that desperate. Which is the overall problem. The Uyghurs did...as with the Tibetans. So, will Chinese chug along in misery? Could be...and nothing like a good war to set the population right.
