Only time will tell if Blinken's actions helped buy time for the west to confront the CCP in earnest. Personally, I think the US has been leading everyone down a more dangerous path due to our greed, arrogance and stupidity. I want to be wrong on this.

Whenever my friends confront me about me beating my wife, I tell them "I'll explore the idea." I then kick a puppy.

Also, if memory serves me correct, wasn't "Blinkin" the blind guy in "Robin Hood, Men in Tights?" Past is prologue I guess.

Paul S Rohrbaugh

The threat of the CCP has been obvious since day one, and Nixon will be seen as the greatest traitor to the west in history.

Are there any "private military companies" that report to the CCP in a manner similar to how the Wagner Group (usually) reports to the Kremlin? Or will the CCP never take a risk with establishing their own Wagner Group given the group's recent actions in the Ukraine War?

Jonathan Robertson

Full disclosure,. I didn't get it at first, but NICE!. Well played. (seriously). I'mA beLinkin' right back atcha. Is there anyone in history who has the last name Wincoln?

Jonathan Robertson

Excellent Question Ian. That really is one that I hope Chris will take up. (He actually does it. He answered and utilized one of my questions a year or two ago on China Uncensored. He's a class act. As well as the people he works with, as far as I can tell.

Well, read Burr's editing of the secret talks in 71 and you will see that Kissinger was the dummy par excellence. He kissed up to Mao as soon as Nixon was out of the room. One sad thing bout Nixon was that he stopped the CIA from airlifting guns and ammo to Tibetan fighters who were out doing the commies.

The CCP has many "warlords" around them. For example, the area of Burma across from Tengchong. My father-in-law is from there and when he was last back there it was no problem to walk into Burma as it was China. But they, the warlords, don't have tanks.

Nixon and every president/administration after him

Biden might as well had sent Wynken, Blynken and Nod.....

Tony Chopkoski

Yup, no one had the moxie to do anything but appease the great slave state of China...that is a real cause for reparations.

Could be Hunter Biden is raking off proceeds from the Chinese building spy bases in Cuba.

Latest out: "The PRC’s famous university entrance exam now requires test-takers espouse political talking points on Xi’s cult of personality and anti-American themes." Time to bone up! The Democratic Street Army of thugs and thieves should have no problem with this exam.

Here's my question: Is time on the side of the US or the CCP? Is China getting stronger or weaker? Is the US getting stronger or weaker? If the US is getting stronger and China getting weaker, time is on our side, so delay is to our advantage. Did we weaken our positions re the CCP? No. Do we want to precipitate a crisis? No. The China spybase is not good, but we have bases in Taiwan, so there is that. We didn't win the Cold War by jumping but by waiting and growing stronger. Relax. We are winning.
