My guess is that one of the main reasons the CCP hasn't invaded Taiwan yet, besides caution regarding America, is that if they tried to conscript an army for any invasion then they'd find themselves facing an uprising the likes of which would make Tiananmen Square seem like a petty argument. If forced conscription does happen in the future, what do you think the results will be?

There is also the eldest son thing. The eldest son is expected to take care of his parents in their old age. If their only son gets killed invading Taiwan they are out on the street starving to death.

I don't see any uprising now...Tienanmen Sq was a unique point in time and was was based on things Chi Gong...I was in China in '88 and as universities you had these large Chi Gong meetings and they seemed (to me) to be about personal freedom and power that carried over to...thinking about Democracy. Now? Severe repression to even think...and no one has guns.

This should be played for all American businessmen dealing with China. BTW, watch Xi's right foot when he walks, Already a bloated figure, in addition, the foot has a slight drag it seems to me.

Just a thought...CU should infiltrate the people (US side) doing the Chinese media infiltration of American web sites and have operatives for street action!
