WELCOME TO PATREON (Patreon)

Since today is launch day, here is a long post detailing things that you might be wondering about. First, thank you to new folks who have decided to join us! You are all amazing, and we're so excited to be weird, Vagrant art house folk with all of you. We're planning on continuing down a strange path, one that is unique to our community and our vibe. We can't predict the future, but we have some excellent ideas of what's next and how we want the Walker and Wylde future to look. In case you're wondering, yes, vagrancy,  constant creation of music, film and content is on the docket. It's an exciting unknown that we're embarking into. Second, I'd like to address a couple things about content:

1. The podcast will begin in October! Pretty exciting! We'll be putting out a poll to receive questions in the next week or so. Depending on how many questions we receive, we will either spend whole episodes on one question, or we'll bang out question after question on every podcast, so if you have really horrible, hilarious questions to ask us, keep a notebook with your brutal questions! But when the time comes, please try not to ask questions we've already answered! We're gonna answer all NEW questions that come our way. For example, every day on Tik Tok we receive hundreds of people saying the same questions! We already have a lot of videos answering a lot of questions, and so we won't be devoting time to things that other patrons have already asked! Keep those great questions on your mind, because we're going to answer stuff as they come our way.

2. Livestreaming will start soon. We're hoping to do weekly livestreams if we can find a way to access wifi, but we don't have wifi almost ever, and especially not in places where we can play music. We usually go to the library to upload videos or use wifi, and we can't play concerts in the library. They tend to kick us out. We're hoping to have the first livestream in the next week. All livestreams will be public, but then after they're over only patrons who have access will be able to see them. What does that mean? It means that over the next year or so, patrons will have many hours of Walker and Wylde music to listen to. Be excited, because for those livestreams we're gonna put out polls of what songs we should learn! I promise we'll learn as many as we can, although some might be impossible for a two person band.

3. We're currently in production of the new album, and so we don't have any new music for you all to listen to this month. But since we're mid-recording process, you can bet that we'll have a bunch of new music very soon! In fact, we might give some early preview stuff for Patrons only, uncompleted mixes and stuff. Excited to share new music with you. For now, we only have the stuff that's already released! So please be patient! Thank you for your love.

4. The Vagrant Dispatch, our fantastic little booklet that will be sent out monthly, will begin in October as well! We'll soon have a post about it, to safely and discreetly collect your mailing addresses. We're excited for everyone to get the Vagrant Dispatch, it's a very exciting little booklet that we've worked hard on. Each month, we hope it's a highlight that you will enjoy. If you sign up after the shipment (we will announce the date for shipping each month.) then you can never get that month again! So make sure we have your mailing addresses each month, because these items will be gone forever after one shipment of Dispatches. 

5. The Vagrants Photozine, the centrepiece of our Patreon is a quarterly magazine. We will be releasing it once per season, essentially. This means that the next one will be in December/January. Upon the release of the next one, those who are below the 10$ USD tier will receive the previous one. This means that those who are receiving "older" zines are always getting a new photozine every three months as well! Everyone gets something.
