Andrew is far better at argument than Alex but I don't think it's because he has stronger points. I think Alex in general has the better points but has trouble articulating and providing strong examples that support his position. Alex also needs to stop letting Andrew move the goalpost and instead lockdown the specific point he is making before moving to the next without providing a solid argument. Ive seen this play out so many times specifically around Spider-Man Homecoming. Also no shade at Andrew I'm just making an Observation.

They do it a lot in anime where they release the first 12 eps weekly as a "part 1", then 2-3 months later they release part 2 which is the rest of the season, usually 24 episodes. I don't know if JJK is doing that for this season or they're making it a season 4. solo leveling was the same way, season 2 was suppose to be part 2 of season 1

I grew up with Tobey's films, and I love 1 and 2 but most of what carries his portrayal as Spider-Man is the external factors surrounding the story and how they impact him, and the direction of Rami. these movies nail the moral concept With Great Power must also come Great Responsibility and how that affects Peter, but Tobey as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man isn't accurate portrayal of Peter as a character. Both Andrew and Tom channel different aspects of Peters character that are flat out lacking or completely absent in Tobey's character performance.

Happy to finally be jumping on as a patreon, loving this content! In August of 2025, I was in a pretty rough space. I'd recently graduated with a Masters degree, applied to 500+ jobs and didn't even get a single interview. And since I couldn't pay rent, I had to move back home with my parents in my hometown where I knew no one. As you can imagine I wasn't in the best headspace at the time. It was around that time that I saw an escape pod clip that made me laugh and I thought "man I've seen these guys all over tiktok, maybe I should check out the full episodes". So, I gave episode 1 a watch. I remember thinking "what's this dude's obsession with horse porn?" and "wow these takes are insane," but above all I remember finishing the first episode, feeling like I'd just had a conversation with some friends who had similar interests to me. It was then that I decided, starting from the very first upload, I was going to watch every single episode they had released until I caught up to the weekly releases. And with episode 169, I completed that goal. At first I watched the show while I applied to jobs and now I listen to it on my commute to work. Over the last year, I witnessed the shift from the videos only showing one person at a time to the shared screen, the upgrades to the agree/disagree cards the chairs and the set. And most importantly, the shift from a horse porn podcast to a podcast about docking. Since I started watching this pod I found a job, made some friends I can talk comics and movies with, and while I still have things going on, I'd say I'm in a better place now than I was. I can say confidently that this pod helped keep to boost my mood through all the good and the bad and I'm genuinely grateful for each episode you guys have dropped (even if some of the takes have been wild). Anyways, all that yapping just to say thank you. This past year was rough but you guys genuinely made it so much better. And now that I've subbed to the patreon I'm excited to be able to restart my goal of watching from the beginning but now focusing on the patreon content! All the best guys!

The thing with Andrew saying that Tom is his boy that is wrong is that ANDREW GARFIELD is his boy. You can’t have 2 boys, especially given that they are playing the same character. Andrew has been Andrew’s ride or die boy for all his existence on the internet. Side note, he always says he can make the argument for each one of them being his favorite, but I don’t believe that in any capacity. He cannot convince anyone that the other 2 are above Andrew Garfield given his history of TASM2 glaze.
