It’s interesting you guys keep asking who’s going to kill the deep and now they have to kill homelander this way or that way. But I honestly think they might not kill either and they will win. I think what they’re going to do is the message of sometimes corruption can win. Maybe the boys will win but I could see them maybe getting close but ultimately losing by the final episode.

Incorrect about the “milk kink”. They both love milk it’s just now shown as much as homelander. Also he respects him out of the love for stormfront and what she would want. At the same time it’s also his son and he recognizes that homelander wants a father figure as Stan Edgar mentioned that he can’t live without one. Father like son they are both fucked up in the head and kill their own teammates and love nazis lol.

With the boys and some of the Homelander and soldier boy bits I feel like you guys are missing some HUGE context clues 😭 Soldier boy stole his brother's place in order to become Vaught's superhero persona before becoming overwhelmed by the PRESSURE of what is expected of that persona. (don't forget he allegedly groomed gunpowder at one point and was beating ts out of noir on a consistent basis) (I feel like even the writers have forgotten how bad they depicted him in the earlier seasons). BUT ANYWAY- in s3 he saw Homelander as the ideal idol persona Vaught had always been trying to create, he hated his brother for it (that was the wall moss man) thus he hated Homelander in that instance (that and he had JUST woken up so this is like the very next day to him lets be real). The anger in s3 was understandable. The more Homelander creates these scenarios where he's the most commanding in the room, and people are deadass pissing themselves scared: Edgar, the writers, the numerous seven meetings shown this season all to appease Homelander. I think Solider boy this season comes to learn more (very slowly) about how Homelander's earned that position through fear (not the og plan Homelander that in mind, like if you remember s1 Homelander thought of lazering down a crowd but wasn't capable of doing it - realising what it would leave him with after - but the crazier he becomes the more he neglects the idea of needing love) rather than being Vaught's bitch (the way he first saw him). I did at first think Soldier boy was doing this lowkey backstab thing until ep4. Also, he noted that it would only feel like a "stomach bug" to Homelander when locking him in there: he knew he wouldn't DIE in there, that wasn't an attempted murder 😭 that was literally what Butcher said it was, a timeout 💀 BUT with Homelander wanting to be a god, and now in his eyes the only person who can take that power would be soldier boy (bombsight, etc) so he's gonna struggle with having to KILL his dad because there's no other option. (Marie will likely come in to fry it out idk 🤧🤷‍♂️)

Soldier Boy is proud of Homelander because he sees him as the supe Clara always thought Soldier Boy could be. He's in pain because Stormfront was fucking Homelander and Soldier Boy knows she saw him as the ultimate supe that they sought out to create but he loves her so he protects her vision.

I do feel like Liberty/Stormfront is a good link between the two because she likely latched herself on to every Vaught no1 "savior" until Homelander came along and she truly believed it because of his appearance (arien or wtv 🙄😒😭). When soldier boy noted how she used to always talk crazy shit about him- alot of what she was saying to Homelander was the same in s2/3. Liberty was never afraid of him, and she worshipped him truly (unlike firecracker) so I've always understood Homelander's strong connection to her but 💀 Soldier boy's dialogue is half listing who he has fucked and we been knew he was dating crimson countess too so?? Idk abt that one man, they're really softening soldier boy this season.

I don’t understand the opinions on Sage not having a good enough reasoning for her plan. When we found her she was a bookworm that didn’t even want to leave but she was threatened by homelander so I think it’s perfectly in line with her character to want the world to burn just to be rid of all the noise

The reason Homelander loved Stormfront is simple. She wasn’t afraid, she wasn’t weak, AND she respected him. It’s a very similar reason as to why he let The Legend live. He wasn’t afraid of Homelander and he respected him, which Homelander never gets, so he spared him for it. Also I thought the reason for Soldier Boy was clear. He’s with Homelander because it’s what Clara would want, and they’ve been building that for episodes now. Soldier Boy kept longing for Clara every time he saw her pictures/she was mentioned.

With the boys, in episode 4 Soldier Boy realises he’s more like Homelander than he thinks when he’s retold his old backstory by Homelander and how he was a coward before he had compound v and that was the only thing that made him special
