Questions for the pod: What’s the first piece of Batman or Spider-Man content you think someone who’s never heard of those characters should consume For Andrew: what would your ideal plot be for Spider-Man 3 video game If you could make a Lego game similar to the new Lego Batman what character would it be around

Tre Brown

Dc teen titan lineup who do you guys want

Fletcher Maddocks

Question for andrew Can I question Andrews ideology real quick, how can he say that he doesn’t understand why hughie is accepting of the supe genocide as it makes no sense for him structurally to be in support of it as much as butcher is, which makes sense. But then says he hates the constant dialogue regurgitation between hughie and butcher as they always argue and insult each other, the writers are implying that hughie doesn’t agree with butcher and this push back proves this, I understand it can be repetitive but it is intentional that hughie dosnt agree with butcher. This is also proven when Andrew says he prefers when the boys have synergy and are working together, so he wants hughie supporting the supe genocide as that is the plan of butcher? I don’t understand the contradictions of Andrews claims in a previous Patreon episode

Ignorant_Lurker

SquidyMac

Who’s a good boyyyyy?

MasonMcMovie

Would you rather switch bodies with Timothée Chalamet or have to quit the pod

Lucas Smith

Will Star Wars ever take risks again? My biggest fear with this new Filoni era is the idea of them constantly learning the wrong lessons from their failures and successes. I’m a huge The Last Jedi, and they learned ALL the wrong lessons from it. I think this Mando & Grogu movie was too safe and I don’t think it’ll do super well. I’m scared they’ll once again learn the wrong lessons. Thoughts?

lemith

who is abetter character/villain homelander or omni man

Embrr

You guys very rarely talk about TMNT, have you seen anything other than mutant mayhem? if you have which version is your favourite?

Moe Aitlafkih

If you had atom eves powers would you use them to uncircumcise yourself, and then circumcise Alex, so you guys could dock the other way around ?

Ben

Where would you like the future of Star Wars animation to go? For example I think adapting some of the canon novels into animated shows would be a great way to continue the stories of some iconic characters like Luke and Leia without the chaos online of a recast

Mighty Cole’s

Not a question but a joke I think Alex will love. In the Tv show flash, Mark Hamill plays the trickster and in the episode he says, “I am your father” to the new trickster. It’s such a good joke. The episode is season 1 episode 17 of the Flash.

ozzy

New here on the patreon but ive been following the pod for a while now and I just wanted to thank you guys. I've had a rough time lately with anxiety over some things in my personal life and it's been hard to kind of get away from all that anxiety and what not. But listening to the podcast at work has been such an amazing help and now with the patreon I get even more content to help make time pass by faster while at work and at any time of the day really, even during my free time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you guys so much for everything you do and the amazing community you've built and for making the podcast exactly what its meant to be, an escape! burnss24

Question for the pod, may have been asked before but I’m curious. Who do you think has the most underutilized power set across media. I’m not necessarily talking about nerfing a character, for example mine is Loki in the MCU, he is a sorcerer with god like strength, who can withstand attacks from the hulk, yet whenever he is fighting he only uses knives.

J0NESYYY-_-

Did y’all watch obsession?

Adam Brinkman

What is the reason you guys like james gun so much? I feel like he makes the same movie over and over again. A rag tag bunch of b tier characters that end up forming a team. Ex. Suicide squad, creature commandos, superman justice gang. I don't want all dcu to feel like a guardians of the galaxy movie. So what do you guys like about him so much that I am not seeing?

Adam Brinkman

Aaron Maldonado

Andrew , I know the escape pod is supposed to be an escape and it’s continually growing into the light of the main stream. But of the things I always loved about you was your dedication to your faith , so much so that it’s actually inspired me in my journey with Christ to cut out cursing all together. It would be kinda cool to see you do some Christian related content such as maybe Bible trivia on the waffelow channel or even to hear your testimony one day.

Chirdypoo

Thoughts Hamilton and a Score please 🙏

Smitty1425

Do you think the hype would be the same or different if Avengers Doomsday was still Kang’s Dynasty(if Johnathan majors didn’t do the stuff he did), we got to see a lot of kang and it connected many titles making it easier to follow in the MCU versus the unknown of Doomsday

Question for both of you, are you going to watch the 2012 ninja turtles or any more ninja turtles media

LadyShadowhuntress

For both of you, but specifically Alex: Do you mind it when fans of the show stop you when you're with friends to say hi? I ask because I was in Los Angeles on the 14th for a birthday trip. I saw Alex outside the premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu when I was there. I wanted to say hi, but didn't because I figured you were working and I didn't want to bother you, especially since it seemed like you were with friends. I've been a big fan of the pod since the 'Who Cares, You Do' episode with Danny Motta, and I kind of regret not taking the chance to talk to you when I had it. At the same time, I want to respect your space and the time you have with friends.

Andrew, if you rated Spider-Man brand new day the exact same as Interstellar and don’t think one is truly better than another from a movie standpoint, would Spider-Man brand new day make your Letterboxd top 4 due to it being a Spider-Man movie

xXKoolKyle100Xx-

Andrew you need to admit that Alex is right about how bad Tasm 2 is, and admit he’s right about homecoming being a good spider-man movie

Hey, I wanted to ask your thoughts on something. A lot of the superhero/fantasy shows and movies we enjoy sometimes include jokes or themes that seem disrespectful toward Jesus or Christianity. As someone trying to grow closer to my faith, I’ve been thinking more about how to navigate that while still enjoying these stories. How do you personally look at it?

Question for Alex: Would you ever consider watching Attack on Titan? Because I just finished it and in my opinion it's the best piece of fiction ever created!

spiz

Question for the both of yall where do you guys both get your amazing t shirts and hoodies

Travis Scott

It really bothers me that a lot of people still thought of Homelander as a hero. I wanted a scene along the lines of Walter White in Breaking Bad saying he watched Jane die. I wanted a moment like that, where Homelander CONFESSES he’s the villain and people see him for who he really is. Not just a scene of him begging for his life. But proud of all of the evil, horrible things he’s done. Thoughts?

Steven

Alex have you listened to Iceman and what are your thoughts?

Alex Lizotte

Are you guys excited for Vought Rising? And if so on a scale 1-10 how excited?

Billy Hardin

Hottest/Worst take is Alex saying homelander shouldn’t have gone scorched earth. That’s like saying it’s a poor choice to have Omni Man kill millions. My question is what do you recommend for first time docker?

Billy Hardin

He’s literally on the Mount Rushmore of supervillains he should get his tragedy

Abraham

Star wars orginal trilogy is better than the lotr trilogy (and love you guys and thx for being my escape)

Maden

thoughts on the lego bricks and minifigs scandal

Opher

The sequel trilogy is underrated because it messed with the lore but… visually it is the best trilogy, the actors playing all the new mains crushed it (great performances from Finn, Poe, Rey, and Kylo even if script wasnt perfect) bb8 was a fun new droid (hard to replace r2d2 and C-3PO). And lots of fun moments even if they didn’t connect well. Like the light saber fight in the waves on the fallen Death Star. Visually awesome. Rey has a cool overly aggressive light saber style. Poe and Finn had great buddy cop type dialogue. Anyway, you get it. Underrated. When I told myself “I don’t get to decide what happens to these characters, it’s not my story” and rewatched I enjoyed them more.

Dallas Gillum

I think you guys should do some drafts, drafting the best movies of certain years, characters, franchises etc. Have the fans decide who wins.

Jam

Andrew, please give Alex 5 reasons he should watch breaking bad. Also Andrew have you watched better call saul?
