Jonathan Garcia

Frank is Casey from the TVA but, Frank was taken out of a timeline that was pruned and was brainwashed to work for the TVA and given the name Casey. Everyone from the TVA is from a pruned timeline and their memories of their past selves are erased by He who remains.

Another early episode let’s goooo. Loki s2 is amazing though.

Carson Williams (HEADKASE)

At the end, Victor Timely never existed. They didn't give him the TVA Handbook so he never happened. Loki didn't split timelines every time he time slipped. It all happens on one timeline.

Carson Williams (HEADKASE)

He Who Remains views time in the 4th dimension. Idk if y'all have seen Arrival but it's the same concept. At the end Loki said fuck that and chose another seemingly impossible different path. That would be a better conversation. How the fuck did he do that?

I fixed my Patreon app let’s go

The end of Loki season 1 is the sacred timeline branching, Loki holding all the timelines means not only just the sacred timeline can exist, all other universe like the Fox X-men universe can also have branches on its timeline, that’s how it changes everything all the timeline coexisting together

Woaahhh new hat guy cameo 😂😂🧢🤠

@ESCAPE POD Krist gets it, Connor doesn’t. So here’s me explaining the things yall have questions about. There is no doubt that this show is a little hard to digest but that doesn’t mean everything doesn’t make sense, cuz it does. Brad: Brad Wolfe is actually Hunter X-5, a Time Variance Authority agent who went rogue after learning that he and the other TVA agents were variants. In between the first and second episodes of Loki Season 2, X-5 retreated to the Sacred Timeline, where he carved out a new life for himself as the actor Brad Wolfe. There, he found great success thanks to Zaniac, an "elevated thriller" in which he is the main star. However, his high profile made it easy for Mobius and Loki to track Wolfe down and drag him back to the TVA for questioning. Before becoming a famous Hollywood actor, Brad was one of the closest advisors of General Dox. Unlike most of the other TVA agents, Dox and her men, including X-5, didn't seem to care when they learned the truth about the multiverse, preferring to continue pruning any branching timelines. Even as the TVA changed for the better, X-5 and his companions sought to prune anything other than the Sacred Timeline, killing billions of innocent people in the process. By the end of episode two, Brad remains in TVA custody alongside Dox and her men, having proven victorious in their mission to obliterate as many branching timelines as possible. Ravonna & miss minutes’ goal (why they need timely): Their plan was to enacted He Who Remains’ plan to influence his Variant, Victor Timely, into succeeding him and eventually bringing order back to the TVA. However, after the whole debacle in ep 3, Miss Minutes revealed the truth to ravonna about He Who Remains, and thus came to the conclusion that they don’t really need him to succeed He Who Remains. But they still needed timely to fix the loom so they can restore the TVA back to what it was (which is what loki & co don’t want, they want to fix it but want to change the philosophy of the TVA). So they attempted to take over the TVA while loom was on the verge of imploding. With Brad helping them, they captured Timely and interrogated him about his throughput multiplier. However, Sylvie enchanted X-05 and made him send Renslayer to the Void, where she faced Alioth. And miss minutes got shut down and reset. ( How does the ending change everything in the MCU?: Well it doesn’t really, that wasn’t the point. The point of loki’s sacrifice is that now that he is holding the branched timelines and breathing life into them, those branches will no longer die due to the failsafe mechanic installed by He who remains in loom. Loki essentially replaces the loom except he keeps both the sacred timeline and the branches alive. The secondary reason to loki’s sacrifice is that now the timelines have a chance to fight back against the kangs. Loki tells sylvie in the finale that the only way to prevent the multi-war is for him to kill sylvie, but sylvie argues by saying that loki isn’t even giving everyone a fighting chance against the kangs, he sjust trying to avoid the disaster and by doing that hes giving into HWR’s philosophy of controlling everyone’s free will for control which is not only flawed but also the thing sylvie hates most. And as much of an annoying extremist sylvie is about that, she has a point and Loki realizes it. Where’s timely?: This is the one true plot hole in the show unless im missing something. Well we see in the ending that he never gets the book, which implies that the timeline gets reset but as we know, thats not how time works in the mcu timelines, when something gets changed it creates a branch and the only way to get rid of the change is to prune that branched timeline so idk what them not giving timely the book does because the timely we know is from a branched timeline of the original one where he doesn’t get a book. temporal aura: This is simple idk why yall had such a heated argument about it. Variants have the same temporal aura. Loki and crocodile loki have the same temporal aura. So yes Loki could’ve found another loki/sylvie instead of the actual one. the shows literally proves it when they show that the aura scanner identifies timely as HWR.

Alex your way off here buddy!!

38 mins might be the worst Alex take ever😂

The Escape Pod Podcast

The sacred timeline branching and all timelines coexisting is two sides of the same coin

Good Point

Conner Love

Once Alex finds something he hates he doesn’t even try to hear people out on why it’s good. That’s one of his big issues

Colin Donnelly

Watch the new Rockstars breakdown of Loki and all your questions will probably be answered lol.

Cassidy Weathers

I like Variant Alex's statement at the end. We need him on the pod more

Calvin Kennedy

Loki season 2 doesn’t make any sense, and I’ll tell you why. It breaks the MCU’s time travel rules previously established in endgame. In endgame we are told that changing the past will not change the future, and that it will just create an alternate timeline. So why, when Loki time slips through the TVA to the past and is telling OB how to build that one device, how is it changing the future and making it so OB has that device now in the future. Completely breaks MCU time travel rules, and there’s 0 ways to explain it and make it make sense. Plus time slipping/time traveling is impossible in the TVA because it literally is said in the first season to exist outside time and space, so if it exists outside time then that means there’s no past, present, or future. how tf can you time travel/ time slip if there’s no existing concept of time

Jaydakvdd

It isn’t hard to understand, but it doesn’t make any sense going by rules previously set by marvel

Spencer Sanchez

Dawg those rules changed the second they killed kang

so likeeee where’s my smash gameplay🫩
