The Care and Feeding of My Wife (Patreon)

Well, well, well... ol' Darkeyev2 is at it again, fellas.

Another story has been written! This one is pretty much the same length as the previous, Glutton's Grimoire (sorry about that, I'll try to make an actual short story as the next one). I consider this a sister piece: the style and point of view are very much different, but for better or worse, it does share a lot of the same themes.

Now, you may notice the disclaimer I added at the very start. I was actually half and half on whether to put one or not - I hadn't for Glutton's Grimoire, and that also basically featured a toxic relationship, right?

Ehhh... sure. But what with having a male protagonist and being in his head... this one feels different. Much darker. Read through it, and you'll quickly get it.

***I'm likely going to head back into lighter themes from here! Maybe even head back into dnd fantasy. We'll see, I tend to be fairly unpredictable. It's part of my charm.

Oh, by the way! Just a quick side tangent here: this story was inspired by another hypnosis/weight gain one I had once found on DeviantArt. It also used hibiscus and ficus! I deliberately used the same words. I'd credit the writer, but I genuinely cannot find it. Hopefully their account hasn't been deleted. If you know what it was called or where it's at, please, do tell me!!
