SEX ENDING SEX ENDING WOO LET'S GOOO
...guys ...i have a confession ...I don't actually like drawing people having sex that much... and part of it is probably because I'm not particularly good at drawing it! Surely that. However, I also found myself kind of at a loss when writing the intercourse scene in this particular route. I guess my prudish brain simply wasn't all that excited about it, and I'm sure you can tell? It's an exceedingly stiff sequence, writing-wise. I'm not ace, I very much like the idea of sex, I just always end up finding myself creatively embarassed when couque and bals enter the scene.
I can't put my finger on it, but I reckon a lot of people with this kink feel similarly? It must be. I mean, there's scarcely any weight gain-related artwork, or series of artworks, or OCs, that also feature sex. That's interesting.
ANYWAYS I'm now going to nerd the FUCK OUT about ancient egyptian art :)
DID ANCIENT EGYPT DO THE THING?
This ending features a different perspective than the others, doesn't it? Well, Richard's an Egyptologist, so I thought it fun to try making something reminiscent of ancient egyptian art. And so, the first thing I did was search around the interwebs. Did ancient egyptians draw lewd stuff?
...
Guys.
...
3000 years of history. A civilization spanning three thousand years! That's 12 USAs, back to back.
...
We do in fact have a heavily damaged papyrus featuring explicit sex acts.
ONE. No others! Just the one.
Papyrus 55001, better known as the Turin Erotic Papyrus. Here, let me also give you a reconstruction (a pretty liberal one, I think? Given how damaged it looks? But I'm not an egyptologist).
I really have nothing else to add here other that this is a wild piece of art. I didn't even use it as reference, not really, but come on, I had to show it to someone else. You're welcome.
GODDESS OF SKY
The pose I've used for the Spirit of Lust is not coincidental. Here, have the composition that inspired it:
I'm led to believe it's a fairly common motif! But I choose it because it had the goddess of the sky in it, and in a very interesting pose. What does the goddess of the sky have to do with anything? Thematically it really doesn't, but her name is NUT eheh
That's it for this piece. Three more to go! I'm unsure as to whether I want to go with this flatter perspective for the other two Richard-related pieces, I don't want to overdo it. But a pregnant Eleanor in profile could look really nice... I'll think it through.
Ok byee
