Well you guys had a load of suggestions for this poll! Voting ends Saturday night (8th)!

Comments

Korny

Miracle has to win.

Carlos Perez

Too bad The Ghost and the Darkness didn't make it to the poll

Zinphad

Not the best movie on the list, but amazing that nobody has done a reaction to it.

Robert Jewell

Hard time deciding between Bonnie or Erin but chose Bonnie because it came out first and it's one of those films that is not only great, but it changed American cinema

JL Green

Hi Dawn. If you really want to know the underbelly of America's original sin consider 12 Years A Slave.

Louis Marzullo

No problem. It's especially important on this 80th anniversary of D-Day that the light & the dark are always remembered in equal measure. And please call me Lou(is). 🖖☮️

JL Green

Affirmative and we'll said Louis.

Sam Nishi Saisho

MIRACLE might be the best live-action movie Disney has ever made .. . .SAVING MR. BANKS is a close second .. ..

Darrell Thorpe

Donnie Brasco is one of the most underrated mob movies ever…it’s coming in last on the poll, but you should still watch it someday, Dawn.

Simon

Wow. I have seen literally none of these. Excited for a full length watch along!

Simon

Ok, I voted for Miracle purely because I like the song by KT Tunstall, another awesome Scot.

Dag Einar Bergli

Donnie Brasco is such an underrated gem. It gots my vote.

Bill W

Simon, idk if you like ice hockey, but it's the best hockey action I've ever seen in a film. They hired over 130 hockey players (not actors) and, put them through a 6 week training session to get accustomed to playing in vintage equipment from the era and learning the plays used in the actual games. The actual coach was the technical consultant on accuracy of the plays, game situations and coach/player interaction. Also, KT is a hottie. She did a great episode of Live from Daryl's House back in '08

Bill W

I'm sad Miracle is going to lose another poll. They're all good movies, but...

Bill W

I agree. I was really impressed when I saw it. It might be Kurt Russell's best performance too.

N M

I wish I could vote for Miracle, Erin Brokovich and Donnie Brosco. ALL THREE ARE GREATEST MOVIES EVER! Dawn - you should watch all 3 of these films!

Bill W

There were a few other movies I would rather have seen on the poll than some of the ones that made it (namely, the one that's winning). Hotel Rwanda, Mississippi Burning, Schindler's List, Rob Roy, JFK, Malcolm X, The Right Stuff..

karey_island

Catch Me If You Can is not a true story, unless telling lies and making a movie based on those lies is somehow a true story, I guess it's true that the guy told a lot of lies but the movie doesn't address that it's all lies

Allen Bond

I've noticed many reactors tend to shy away from dramas, real or fiction. Maybe they get lower views?

Allen Bond

I don't think there is a single movie based on a true story that is accurate. Documentaries are closer, but even those can embellish.

Bill W

Who knows. Of those, Schindler's List gets a lot of reactions (thanks to winning 7 Oscars), but the others hardly any, or zero.

Bill W

Allen, that's true, but CMIYC is all personal claims, most of which have been disproven.

Jimmy Walker

I voted for Erin Brokovich because I want to see Dawn's reaction to the lead role.

john ruddick

Donnie Brasco is a must at some point it is a great story.

Tim Foppiano

13 Hours: Secret Soldiers of Benghazi should have made this list if Dawn has not already watched it. Same as the Lost Battalion. I meant to suggest these, but got caught up with family. Miracle. Great book! Watched it in real life, I’m old ! Erin Brokovich, know the background and the area it took place. Was a professional firefighter in the general area for a while so it was a topic of conversation when the movie came out.

Bill W

Just a friendly reminder... Donnie Brasco, Deep Water and 12 Years voters: One more day to change your votes if you want to boost any of the other contenders.

Eric Janssen

Even though I went to Northeastern U in Boston, I hate hockey, I hate hockey fans, and Miracle is still just so freakin' good.

Louis Marzullo

Maybe tomorrow. Something to do between reactions 😄 (assuming we get Rocky 2 today, which I'm getting nervous about).

Bill W

I mean, they're all good movies but it seems a shame to waste votes on the selections that don't have a chance this late in the game.

Louis Marzullo

Yep, done it a few times, as I'm sure we all have. This would be my first "double switch", however. Oooh, new experiences! I feel so alive!! 😄

Tommy Ivison

Let's go Erin Brockovich !!!!

Tommy Ivison

Dawn, If Erin Brockovich loses the pole you should still do a reaction on it. It definingly your kind of movie.

Tom

I can't believe Raging Bull isn't in here. A tremendous movie based on boxer Jake LaMotta's violent life
