Not too long ago this would have been my idea of a week of hell... all boy movies! But not any more 😁

James B.

Does this mean you liked Rocky V? i usually skip it, but maybe I'll find it interesting to see it through a fan's eyes.

Bartleby

How could you do us dirty like that? Oh yeah that poll winner from last month, well you’ll have to wait till next week to get it! 😔 And that’s not counting the week delay due to MI movies.

Bartleby

I saw Chopper once when it was new. Haven’t seen it since. I see it’s on Prime. It’ll be interesting to revisit it with you Dawn.

Carl Evans

Leon has two versions: the theatrical cut at 1:49m and the extended cut at 2:12m. The extra 23 minutes in the extended cut makes the movie a bit more audacious.

Louis Marzullo

Chopper, Leon, Tarantino... almost impossible to imagine the rom-com/chick-flick Dawn Marie! Are you sure she ever existed? 😂

My comment was more about Dawn's "boy movie" binge as of late, which Megamind has played a prominent role in, than it was about this week's reactions specifically. But thanks anyway!

Yorkshire Shaft

Honestly Dawn tell me after you see Leon it's a boy movie. Plus you love the Rockys lass

Chopper? Chopper? I had no idea that movie was still around.....Mr B, like you, I saw it once.....But, unlike you, I going to leave it that way. 😣

It’s a true story! And one of Eric Bana’s greatest performances. I’m looking forward to revisiting it. And seeing Dawn’s reaction to it will definitely be entertaining!

I do remember one part.....Watching the bar scene, the waitress said "Drink up"..... (Oops, did I just use a dangling participle?) 😁

james flack

Louis, are you keeping a dossier on me?...🤔 And "No"....😣

Louis Marzullo

Haha, no. I just pay attention, most of the time. Expect "dangling participle" to pop up again somewhere down the road. 😄

Interesting that you would characterize shocked reactions to the longer cut of Leon as "p.c." To me they sound... what's the word... oh yeah, "conservative". 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, not necessarily. Maybe not having access to Dawn's full-length reactions, I just have more time to respond!
