Aww. They'd do the same for you! 😁 I pity the fool tries to get between Dawn & her Rocky's! 😡

Louis Marzullo

Dawn, if you're going to watch all the Rocky's, regardless of their individual quality (which I'm happy about), I think you should extend the same courtesy & attitude towards Godfather, part 3. Of course, it doesn't compare to the first 2 but neither do any of the subsequent Rocky's! 😁

Yorkshire Shaft

It's OK but even Dawn's Get some nuts Mr T impression still couldn't save it. But it's good you watched it as you can make your own mind up how good is was. You've still rocky Balboa and the Creed films left about apollo's son.

Hey Dawn!! Remember how much you enjoyed the movie “Grand Budapest Hotel” You got to return to that director’s work. Wes Anderson. Recommend the Wes Anderson film “Rushmore” (1998) It stars Jason Schwartzman the real life son of Adrian, the actress, Talia Shire. She also played the sister in the Godfather family and is real life sister to Godfather director, Frances Ford Coppola. Remember how much you laughed watching Grand Budapest Hotel. Come back to that director. He’s made many amazing films. Watch “Rushmore” And you can be properly introduced to Adrian’s real life son, Jason Schwartzman. It would be fascinating to see what you think of him and specifically him in that very funny movie.

The thing about this series that I think they get right and is often overlooked is Rocky's mental health throughout. It has an arc that follows along with his character. If you pay attention to the way Stallone plays the character throughout the series you see subtle differences. Like Rocky 3, he noticeably thinks and even speaks clearer. Then when we get to Rocky V he's making very questionable decisions and even suffers mental lapses. I get why you would say you are disappointed and even surprised that he would neglect his family but changes in character can be explained by brain damage and I don't think it was accidental in this movie.

Sure would be sweet if Dawn dropped the full reaction for Leon today…. 🥺

Liked your outro, Dawn. Very fair. And you were never bored! (just like Taxi Driver)... "Hoagie" is a foot-long (a little less than 1/3 of a meter) cold-cut sandwich (like ham, turkey, cheese, salami, pepperoni, etc.), usually dressed with tomatoes, lettuce, onions (not on mine!), salt, pepper, oregano, oil & vinegar (you can get mayo on yours!). That term is very Philadelphia. In New York/New Jersey they're called "Subs", short for "Submarine"... Rocky Sr.'s name is actually "Robert"; Rocky is a nickname he got in honor of Rocky Marciano, real heavyweight champion in the 1950's who retired undefeated, 49-0. Pretty sure someone else already shared this info back aways.

Dawn, true fact: Tommy Morrison ("Tommy Gunn") was simultaneously married to 2 women named Dawn in 1996!! 😵‍💫 He had a very tragic life & died at age 44. ☹️
