Time to vote for your favourite Disney princess movie 👸🏼 WHAM! Plot twist! It's actually a poll for movies with big plot twists (according to google 🤪)! Bet you didn't see that coming!

Voting ends Thursday (8th)!

Comments

Joshua White

Please, do not make the mistake of watching the Spike Lee remake of Oldboy! :D

Dean J

I feel like knowing ahead of time there's going to be a major plot twist almost defeats the purpose...

Red

You should watch them all ! Very difficult to separate them from each other

David Harvey

Definitely "The Prestige" because it's a historical period film full of plot twists, who done it's, and magic that has powerhouse performances and a huge twist at the end. Dawn, you'll love it!

Duke Pootentooter

Aww, I was excited to vote for my favorite Disney princess (Rapunzel, by the way).

Adam B

If I could only do a write in for 1983's Sleepaway Camp...still a good list though.

JL Green

Yaaaa! Psycho all the way!!!

Chicago Artist Jon

I might abstain on this one. Too hard to decide. Anyone of those works for me.

Jeff Forbes

This one's kind of out of my wheelhouse. I've only seen 2 on the list. (and 3 of them I've never even heard of)

Bartleby

Not a fan of this theme as a poll. Because once you know a movie has a plot twist, essentially the plot twist has been spoiled for you. You’re going into it knowing there’s a plot twist so you’re actively looking for it instead of just letting the movie take you on a ride.

John Lawton

Tempted by Arrival, but gotta go with Hitch!

Dag Einar Bergli

That's a lot of great movies in the same poll.

George Roybal

The Prestige is your kind of movie. Who done it wrapped in a revenge motivation with two magicians. Starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Cain, Scarlett Johansson, David Bowie and Andy Serkis.

Clayton Johnson

I was going to vote for Princess Dawn Marie, but you fooled me.

Zinphad

Interesting, a number of these may have surprising elements, but I would not label them as major plot twist type movies.

Eric Janssen

Has DM reacted to The Sting yet? Thought we got that early on (girl reactors always like Robert Shaw’s “Ya follah?”), along with obligatory Robert Redford “Jeremiah Johnson” followup, but couldn’t find it on her channel page. Wondered why it wasn’t on the list. Oh well,, for Robert Shaw and twist endings, there’s always “The Taking of Pelham 123”. 😉🚪

Louis Marzullo

At least with Psycho, Dawn's seen enough Hitchcock to know there's usually some major misdirection. But the rest on the list have been tainted. Still alot better than knowing the actual twist, obviously. Oh well, live & learn! 🧠

Louis Marzullo

Congratulations to Scotsman Josh Kerr, Olympic Silver medal winner in 1500m race today!🥈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Louis Marzullo

And Gabby "Gold" Thomas!! 😍🥇🇺🇲

john ruddick

I voted for "Oldboy" just for the corridor sequence.

Red

In a Poll it’s impossible to choose between any of them

Toc

Brilliant plot twist on the poll! 🤣

Bartleby

She did it as a joke since this Patreon is a sausage fest. But I wouldn’t mind a Disney Animation poll. It’d probably skew more towards boy properties like Lion King, Aladdin, Pinocchio, or maybe Fantasia. Disney animated films are important classics and certainly deserve their place.

Jay Perry

Unfamiliar with these movies, except Psycho.

Red

You should just watch them all as they are all that good

Jimmy Walker

The plot twist will be how big win Psycho win by, more or less then 50% of the votes?

Louis Marzullo

"Sausage fest" never fails to crack me up 😄 Plus, brings back great memories of Mom curing her own dry sausages & family fights breaking out over them. My uncle (Pop's brother) actually drove to our home one year to demand some. "But your wife makes her own!" my father shouted. "HERS ARE SHIT!!" he shouted back. I think he left with 3 or 4 links, which I'm sure he didn't share. Crazy-ass mofos!! But yeah, they were that good. 🐖😂

Louis Marzullo

Btw Dawn, your plot twist promo got me... again 😄 "HAS SHE LOST HER MIND?!?" 😂

Duke Pootentooter

Sounds like you are working on some kind of mashup screenplay, Louis. "Grumpy Old Sausage Fest - Italian Style"

Louis Marzullo

🤣 Sorry, Duke. But if Bartleby is being tough on the negotiations, I'll go with yours!

Duke Pootentooter

Well, if Bartleby's gonna play hardball, then I am willing to sweeten the pot with my prized possession: A VHS copy of "Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" personally signed by a (barely coherent) Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini's stunt double, AND Bob Papenbrook (AKA "Man Buying Pornography #2")! But Bartleby's title is way better.

Louis Marzullo

LMAO, ZOINKS!! 😂 I would never ask you to part with that, Duke. I hope it's under glass! Thanks, guys. This has been one of the more pleasant ways of killing time waiting for Dawn to upload!

Simon

Prestige. Partly because it's awesome, but partly because I never tire of Bowie in this film.

N M

I prefer MODERN movies in COLOR with AWARD WINNING ACTRESSES— hence, THE OTHERS has my vote.
