I'm doing things. 😅 so again we're having some issues with tonight's upload. Nothing new there!! Anyway I'm sitting here hurling some sweary words and found myself reminiscing about the classic Scottish insult 'yer da sells Avon' (the most insulting of all time) and then I went to 'naw ye didnae' from Still Game and actual belly laughed so hard for like an hour straight. I put the episode on and felt better. Please give me a laugh and share some comical jabs!

Also!! I didn't actually realise (or maybe forgot 😅) that it can be beneficial to you guys to have a download option for the full reactions. I'm on it! I'll have a link to download the full version of Master and Commander tonight so let me know if it works and if you want download links for any past reactions, let me know and I'll sort that out!

😄 That was good. Even better, it led me to a big pickled boaby! 🤣

Many years ago a co-worker who was coming in dead tired to work actually set me up with the perfect insult. I thought he was joking because never in my life did I think someone could say that without knowing the joke, but he had never heard it. He said: "I'm so tired because I had two sexy girls pounding on my front door all night." I said: "Did you ever let them out?" Not only had he not heard that common joke, he had a hard time understanding the joke. He wasn't too quick, but I sure get a laugh to this day to have had a chance to say that to someone in real life.

Chris

Have you ever heard " your short and your mom dresses you funny"?

JL Green

Okkkkk! I don't quite understand the swear words but it's cool 😎 As far as I am concerned "cuss n fuss" to your hearts delight lol.

Glenda Kennedy

I saw this one today. “I hope you have sudden explosive diarrhea while stuck in traffic. With the sneezes. “ 🤣

You've still got a couple more Marx bros to watch. Might be a good time for one! I hear tell they love to make Dawn Marie laugh. ✨✨✨

Dawn, I confirmed that “Charade” is public domain. Trust me, it’s a fun one. Everyone loves “Charade.” And it stars Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, so it’s a no brainer.

Och, you're a dovey tattie. Such a steamin' bampot. Ye hiv a face that wid turn a funeral up a side street. A face like a skelpt arse, and yer arse is chewin toffee!

Mike Conlin

Night in Casablanca is a must. It was like a bolt of lightning near the end of their run where everything came together and it was just classic Marx Bros insanity. The entire sequence of Harpo and Groucho on the elevator is worth the price of admission alone.

Chicago Artist Jon

“Did your parents have children that lived?” Senior Drill Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. When's the next unboxing?

Wayne Kryka

I’d love a download for SLEEPER

Just came across a site called The Epic Talk, which includes a section of actual exchanges heard on the New York City subway. This was my favorite- New Yorker: "You better hold on to a pole". Tourist: "I'm fine, thank you. I'm a dancer. Natural balance" (she promptly falls). New Yorker: "Gravity is natural, too". 😄 Guess she wasn't a pole dancer!

Every time you ask that, I think of that movie "Boxing Helena". I never saw it. Should Dawn watch it, anyone?

An American group was on a tour of Edinburgh. Stopping in front of an old, stone building, their tour guide gestured to it grandly, saying, "And this, is John Knox's Hoos." "Who was John Knox" one of the Americans asked. The guide, who was more enthusiastic than informed, replied, "Dinna ye ken John Knox?! Awa hame and read yer Bible!"

I know but Gene Siskel gave it 3 out of 4 stars! And Janet Maslin in the NY Times liked it, too. Marmite movie poll!

Duke Pootentooter

It tries to be campy and controversial, but I found it to be just unpleasant. It is hard to root for either of the main characters. I predict Dawn's response would be: "What the hell did I just watch?"

Beautiful new pic for Children of Men thumbnail. Really conveys the gravitas of the subject matter!

John DiGiantomasso

My favorite from the Civil War: "You couldn't pour piss out of a boot with instructions printed on the heel!" A sailor friend of mine to his son: "You're a teenager. You're SUPPOSED to be an idiot. Just try not to abuse the privilege!"

Craig Russell

Two popular insults from the 70's, when I was in elementary school, "You're wearing K-Mart clothes" and "When God handed out brains, you thought he said trains and asked for a real slow one!"

Mark Crawford

"Did you have a brain tumor for breakfast?" - from a movie. I won't say which one - but I do hope you get around to it on the channel someday!

Robert Nelson

"Your mother wears combat boots." Not so much of an insult today, though.

Mark Crawford

All I can remember about it is handing over my student ID card to get a discount, just as I remembered that the card was showing that I wasn't yet 18 years old... Cashier didn't notice lol

Bill W

Yakov Smirnoff- "In Russia you can't say 'You're mother wears Army boots'.....because she probably does. And she will hurt you." 😀

Simon

I really love "you're as useful as a chocolate teapot". I also have a deeply filthy one that Dawn will probably laugh at, but my American brethren will not appreciate, so I'll refrain.
