Gangster or Cowboy... which would you rather be? After watching Goodfellas I know what I'd pick 🤠

Bill W

Definitely cowboy.

Zack Gallardo

Super excited for true grit. Just watch the remake this last weekend.

Gangster and cowboy movies. Doesn’t get anymore American than this!! As much as Dawn loved westerns, I’m going to go ahead and guess she’d opt for the gangster lifestyle. Primarily because the gangster life is more luxurious when you’re on top. While the cowboy lifestyle at top, you’re still dealing with dust and horse crap.

Scott

Dawn, you need a cowgirl hat...

Yes, suppose that’s a giveaway of her bias, but if so, it’s only because she didn’t consider all the dust and horse crap! But then she has gone on about how much she wants an elephant. If she wouldn’t mind cleaning that crap up then I suppose…

Retro Maven

Hmmm...John Wayne versus the Wise Guys, my $$$ is on the Duke! 😛

Lol. She might want to be Paulie for a little while: alot of power, eats well, no more dirty work, hates dope. But yeah, in the end it's gonna be horses, elephants, cows & a big ol' ranch for DM🐴🐘🐄 And we may have too much time on our hands, my friend!🤣😂🤣

MertzRocks

MY kind o' Cowboys... "Looks like we got here just in the nick o' time! What's that make us?" "Big damn heroes, sir!" "Ain't we just!!"

Darrell Palmer

Can't wait for "True Grit." Saw this in the theater way back when it came out and it is still a favorite of mine. 🤠

Michael Hartsell

If you would have watched Godfather first, then it would have helped you understand the start of the mafia in the 40's & how it began with the Five Families. Plus, it's a much better movie and story than Goodfellas.

mhz

cowboys -- always ...

Michael Hartsell

Rio Bravo, Red River & Stagecoach need to be on your list, better than True Grit IMO and two of them are in black & white. Woo Hoo!

That's great Darrell, but I got you beat I saw Liberty Valance' when it first came out at Carolina Theater in Winston-Salem NC with my dad, great memory must have been about 10 or so. Looking forward to True Grit also.

El Dorado is my #1 favorite John Wayne movie. I think it has to do with one characters rediculous shotgun and cool outfit that made me like it as a kid and it just remained top tier for that reason. Super fun movie either way.
