Thank god Hannibal Lecter wasn't the back up for the Apollo 13 mission 🤣 That would have been a whole different movie!

Eric Bonham

It would have solved a lot of problems.

Forrest Gump and Lieutenant Dan reunited! 2 classics and a LIVE. Best week ever!

Dawn as Clarice. Now THAT'S a whole different movie! 😁🐑🐑🐑 Chilton would've gotten his nuts served to Hannibal! 🤣

saw this once - no need to see this again ... how about some Dragnet tv series ? ...

Hey Dawn, you’re still in between TV series’s right. You should consider the new NetFlix streaming show “One Piece” A live action adaptation of the manga and anime. The show is super hot right now. It’s a very fun and strange show. And it’s one season is only 8 episodes, so it wouldn’t be that big a commitment. I think you’d really dig a lot of things about this show Dawn.

And I’m still of the notion that you should switch to a fun lighthearted show after the heavy realism of Band of Brothers

Retro Maven

Two great dramas for sure. But the Marx boys sure are gathering dust on your shelf! 😉

I think Band of Brothers shell shocked the shit out her and bless her heart she's still reeling from it. "Lonesome Dove" is waiting for you malady. Western 4 part TV miniseries has you name written all over it. Amazing story!!

I’ve enjoyed Larry Sanders, but wasn’t Larry Sanders Show very topical of the culture to the time it was made? I don’t think Dawn would even recognize most of the celebrity guest stars on the show. She’s still never seen a Sharon Stone movie. I think Dawn still needs to spruce up on 90s and early 2000s pop culture before she could get all the jokes in the show.

I agree that "Lonesome Dove" is the perfect TV mini-series for her. Only 4 episodes and it's a western that has great humor and humanity and some love stories thrown in for good measure. It has an all-star cast of amazing academy award winning actors that she has already seen and enjoyed in some of her favorite films. 👍

I dunno, Sam. If we were talking about most other reactors around same age , maybe. But Dawn seems immune to any kind of "this is before my time" aversion. Big part of why we're all here, no? She's enjoyed Marx bros, Chaplin, Monty Python, Young Ones & all those classic old B&W films. I don't think any trace of topical dust on Sanders will diminish her laughter.

DOES she have them on her (disk) shelf? Thought she did, when she gave us that first long list, but then she said she hadn't.

I don't think so but we've gotten, what, five so far? So access doesn't seem to be an issue. Should drop one soon, especially if we continue our whining!😂😫🤣🥸

She has been sent the rest of their films, so she has them. She know loyal fans like us wish to see them so I'm sure we'll get some Marx action soon...

Another 'Dove' vote for Dawn's list. Never saw it but Robert Duvall & Tommy Lee Jones? I'd watch them sitting on a porch watching the grass grow!
