Could that have been any closer!? 😲 Glory and Apocalypse Now couldn't be separated, while The Dirty Dozen narrowly beat Platoon (52% to 48%). So, change of plan. Instead of reacting to the top two films, I'll now react to the top three films, The Dirty Dozen plus Glory and AN (since they were a draw).

As Louis mentioned in the comments to do an Olympic style 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, we'll do one more poll to decide the running order, as I'll react to the winner first, and so on 🥇🥈🥉

I think you should still consider doing Platoon Dawn. It came in so close. Even if it’s a Patreon exclusive for now. One of the war films that placed stars a certain actor in the lead in his most iconic film. And Platoon stars that actors son in the lead in his most iconic film.

I agree. I suggested you do all the top 4 earlier. And Bartleby makes a good point about the actors. But I never complain as long as I have YOU doing movie (and TV show) reactions Dawn Marie!

And I second Lou’s idea of a Historical Order The war movies by their time in history 1) “Glory” (The Civil War) 2) “The Dirty Dozen” (WW2) 3) “Apocalypse Now” (Vietnam War)

Hey Bart, what are some of the better U.S. Revolutionary War films? I can't think of anything but "The Patriot" off the top of my head (historical inaccuracies aside, it is a thrilling, gripping Gibson-palooza). Bill, Eric, anyone else, feel free to chime in 🥁🪡🇺🇲
