This was meant to be Unforgiven, however a few of you suggested I should watch a few more classic Clint Westerns before diving into it. So that's exactly what I've done and I'm so glad I did 😍

I know I've been neglecting you guys a bit this past week, I'm still not 100% and am trying to take things a bit slower for a wee bit! Don't worry though, I will get round to replying to your messages, and uploads will still be coming out!

Thank you for your patience and sticking around, and also for your continued support, it's so so so soooo appreciated 🥰

No worries. Get better Dawn. I love this movie

Björn Karlsson

Your health comes first. It's OK 🤒🤧😷🤕

Louis Marzullo

What an awesome surprise for a rainy, cold Sunday nite! Perfect lead-in to the gladiator, er, football match later! You were probably already run-down when this bug hit you. Last thing anyone wants is a relapse. Rest is most important. Take all you need & maybe think of slowing down a wee bit somewhere in your hectic life going forward, too. Like you said in Godfather outro, you're going to be doing this for a long time (🤞), so pace yourself!🖖🙏❤️

Simon

Great to hear you're on the mend. Take it easy!

Glenn Rutherford

So glad you’re feeling better 😃 Thanks for bringing a smile on a rainy Sunday evening (it’s raining north of Toronto Canada as well 😕)

Bartleby

So for the next John Wayne western, I nominated “Stagecoach” (1939) Directed by John Ford Director of Liberty Valance and The Searchers. This was John Wayne’s breakout role. And for the next non Clint Eastwood non John Wayne western, nominate “The Wild Bunch” (1969) This is a very important western in the history of movies.

Bill W

The actor who played the old man Lone Watie was Chief Dan George. He held the honorary title of "Chief" among his people who were native to what is now North Vancouver. He was 77 yrs old when this film was released. He died 5 years later. Chief Dan was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in "Little Big Man". He was awarded the title Officer of the Order of Canada, their 2nd highest civilian honor, and he has 2 schools and a theater named after him. PS... I hope you get around to watching Little Big Man. It's another Western that takes place just after the Civil War. It stars Dustin Hoffman.

john ruddick

This was the first Clint Eastwood movie I ever saw, since then I've been a big fan. It's good to hear your feeling a bit better but take it slow and remember we all want the best for you. xxx

Brandon Williams

The Redlegs were guerrillas (not gorillas). I'll let someone with more knowledge of American Civil War history explain the rest. Muskrats are rodents that live near water, kind of like beavers, but smaller and the tail is more like a rat's. The first (and only) time I ever saw one, I couldn't figure out what I was looking at.

Jimmy Walker

i vote Lonesome Dove and Red River as the next westerns to react too.

Louis Marzullo

Open Range, too. More Robert Duvall. Tender Mercies, The Great Santini, The Apostle

Bartleby

And the Clint Eastwood western “High Plains Drifter” (1973) is another Eastwood western to see before “Unforgiven”

Zack Gallardo

Favorite John Wayne Film "El Dorado"! You should look up "old tucson studios" where a TON of westerns were filmed too btw. You will start to notice the similar buidlings and lanscape shots after you do!

Zack Gallardo

adding another nomination... DEADWOOD!!!

james flack

Charles Bronson in "Hard Times", Dawn. I think you'll like it so much; it will be you sending ME a "Thanks"! Just funnin' with ya. 🤔😉💛
