So here we go 😅 lets decide what's next! I've picked a few different genres from all of your suggestions and I'll keep the others for the next poll. I've already seen The Bear, Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders and Tiger King. I also can't get a hold of Lonesome Dove (Gutted cause that's what I originally planned to do next) Twilight Zone, Das Boot, Rawhide and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. That's not to say I won't be able to source them in the future so they are certainly not ruled out.
Voting will end Sunday morning at 6am my time cause I need a quick decision to start filming on Monday 😁 Looking forward to seeing what wins 🤩

Let's go "Police Squad".

Gary McNerney

Nothing is better than seeing you laugh Dawn!

Gene Hendricks

I gotta go with Twin Peaks, if for nothing else it will give me an excuse to re-watch the series.

Bartleby

The Twilight Zone is an absolute essential TV series to watch!! It is one of the greatest programs ever produced for television. Some of the top most interesting writers of the day! And another aspect you would love about this show Dawn. So many iconic mega stars appeared in this show before they became famous. Many of these actors and actresses you will recognize from having watched so many classics on your channel Dawn.

john ruddick

I think we need to do bottom to really round of the Rick Mayall tribute, i still miss his electric wit every day, that and Bottom was really his passion project a real stand alone show.

Gary Mackley-Smith

Another series to consider: The Prisoner (UK version). There were 17 episodes. It's about a secret agent who resigns and is taken to "the village".

john ruddick

I would love to know if there is anything you particularly want to see Dawn, your choice matters just as much. xx

Jordan Love

How on Beetleguise is Hitchhiker's Guide not winning?

john ruddick

I think a comedy is the way to go Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Bottom or Police Squad.

John Liebling

Dawn there is nothing like the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling at his peak. All the episodes he wrote are not good, they are brilliant. Hope you and your community find a way for you to watch so many terrifically creative shows.

Anthony Donato

Reacher is a great series that I think you would like.

Elliot Nesterman

"Upstart Crow" (David Mitchell as William Shakespeare) and "Count Arthur Strong" (about an elderly, and a bit addled, actor/comic) are both excellent comedies.

Jimmy Walker

It is hard to believe that it has been 35 years since Lonesome Dove first aired

Michael Hartsell

'Deadwood' is no 'Lonesome Dove' but it's the only thing on this list I would watch. 'Lonesome Dove' gutted what the hell does that mean? Somebody teach Dawn what 'The Pirate Bay' is for christ sake. Sounds like someone is just not trying hard enough.

Eric Janssen

Twilight Zone is worth the effort, even if you have to spring for the physical Blus--A few episodes will get you hooked. (But if you're buying by seasons, skip S4 which jumped the shark.) A new generation is also discovering the original 60's "Mission: Impossible", which focuses on clockwork spy plans coming together, and couldn't be more different from the Tom Cruise X-stunt movies. And a new binge love for "Columbo", a series of addictive feature-length murder mysteries, with a detective who may not be QUITE so bumbling and discombobulated as he'd like smug suspects to think he is.

Louis Marzullo

If it's Deadwood, all the amazing moustaches may distract Dawn from all the amazing dialogue.

Retro Maven

Fargo Season 1 is an incredible ride that will stay with you long after you see it. It's been 10 years now and I can remember all the remarkable characters and twists in the plot. You should see the movie Fargo before you watch the show, however. Police Squad is only 6 episodes and you can probably do 2 at once if you wish. I wouldn't watch any of the other choices.

Pat Cecil

"Is this a bust?" " Yes, very impressive." Police Squad

Eric Haefele

I voted for "Homecoming" not because I thought it was so good but because it was the only one on the list that I have seen.

Bartleby

Just do everyone a solid and vote for Deadwood. A western series. Dawn will love it! If you do, we’ll carry you on our shoulders and all cheer you in celebration!!

Darrell Palmer

Deadwood is amazing. Nothing else like it. I can wait for Lonesome Dove a little longer, but please someone help her find a source.

Michael Hartsell

It's (Lonesome Dove) listed at Amazon Prime all four episodes for $6.49, not sure about Scotland though. I'm sure Dawn would not use P2P file sharing, that's what I do. I can download it and burn it to dvd and send it if I knew the address.

Louis Marzullo

Go to YouTube site page & hit arrow where it says "Hello & welcome". Takes you to "Description" page. P.O. Box info is there.

Ragnar Miersch

I don't know if Scotland has a different variant of YT but I watched Lonesome Dove again last month for free. It popped up after I watched a few other westerns. I imagine a quick search would let us know for sure.

John Lawton

Deadwood is the one to see To add to Dawn’s vocabulary!

Louis Marzullo

Well, as things are panning out, you know our Dawn Marie is going to watch Deadwood AND Police Squad. Perfect contrasts!

Louis Marzullo

Well, John, now that's 2 shows widely considered to be among the best in American TV history that you've dissed. Any others you want to toss in while we're at it to burnish your contrarian credentials? And you also said all the finalists were great choices 🤔

Mark Crawford

Homecoming is amazing. I would have voted for it, were it not for the fact that Twin Peaks has that nostalgic pull for me.

jeroen87

I can only stream fargo and twin peaks in the netherlands hope one of those 2🤞🏻

john ruddick

Yeah it's a critically acclaimed show so it's a great choice for the channel, but I didn't watch it. The two things can be true at the same time.

john ruddick

My 2 least favourite are prison break and lost. They really annoyed me the first three episodes of lost were ok but after that it was pretty bad. And prison break I was forced to watch by people at work but I refused to watch season 2 because I found the writing so bad.

Louis Marzullo

You are correct, sir: 2 things can be simultaneously true while appearing not. So I'll stand by Deadwood having some of the most dazzling dialogue ever written for TV, despite it being historically innacurate, which I wouldn't know because a) I'm not an historian & b) I wasn't there. 😄 Thanks for your response, John 🖖

Louis Marzullo

Prison Break I don't know at all. As to Lost, I don't think I've watched a major commercial network drama since my Hill St. Blues/St. Elsewhere days in the 80's. It also seemed gimmicky to me from promos & what I'd read. I tend toward reality-based material vs. fantasy. Feel free to set me straight on that note, if need be. ☺️

Louis Marzullo

Lmao, "I was forced to watch by people at work". That reminds me of my dear, departed brother-in-law, who used to "force" me to watch the most awful comedy films with him as a kid because no one else would. These were the kinds of movies that even the most drunken frat-boy wouldn't crack a smile at but he'd sit there howling for 90 minutes while I could only dream of getting out, getting anywhere, getting all the way to the... 🐑

Zack Gallardo

Imagine Dawn constantly voices her guesses about who dunnit. She will be changing her mind every episode.

Zack Gallardo

This is a good idea. If she watches a movie thats available to all of use free that would be a fun live stream or summin.

Zack Gallardo

I made it to season three becuase I was at the right age at the right time to not understand how bad the writing was. I was hitting college by season 4 and by then... I was sad for the hours lost on the other three seasons... so bad... just so bad... :)

Zack Gallardo

Oh man I Just cancelled my HBO subscription too... Ill re-up if DW wins tho.

Michaela

Agreed! I missed this poll (although my one vote for Bottom wouldn’t have made much of a difference 😂), it’s a real shame Bottom didn’t do better! I don’t know if you’re aware, but there’s going to be a two hour Bottom documentary next Thursday, on Gold (which you can also watch with the Now TV entertainment pass), called Bottom: Exposed 😁 Ade Edmondson is of course going to be in it, plus other cast and crew, etc. I can’t wait for it 😃
