Notifications, desktop notifications and translations (Patreon)

Big one! Mentions column has been replaced with a notifications column, which, alongside mentions, includes favourites, reblogs and follows that you receive. Furthermore, in supporting browsers, notifications trigger "desktop notifications". I know the terminology is a bit overlapping there... Those are the little blurbs on your screen that notify you something happened in a tab.

You can now also choose which language to use Mastodon in. There's the default English; I've translated everything into German,  victorhck and  ekaitz_zarraga translated it into Spanish.

More stuff has been moved to background workers.

The UI now uses "real" URLs instead of the anchor ones (#) and e-mails now link using those, so instead of clicking through to the public page of a status from the e-mail, you can go straight to the interactive UI.
