• Moved all color definitions throughout the UI into stylesheets, abstracted them into SCSS variables for easier customization of the entire colour scheme just from one file (app/assets/stylesheets/variables.scss)

• Fixed replies to remote & unknown statuses appearing on home/public feeds

• Site title is now another setting admins can change from admin UI

• Public hashtag pages design improved

• Federation for locked accounts, follow requests implemented

• Change to how exactly private toots behave: previously, they would not notify/be visible to people mentioned in the toot, unless they followed you. Now, they are, including delivering the toot to other instances. Because not all servers may honour the privacy setting, a warning is displayed so you can decide whether you are OK with where your toot is gonna go.

• Improved Atom XML semantics. Add "next" link into Atom feeds for machine-readable pagination

• Wrote a lot more unit tests

• Fixed a lot of cases where GIF uploads would timeout and drop a 500 error by changing maximum service timeout from 15 to 90 seconds

• Added rake task for turning user into an admin

• Two-factor authentication secret is now displayed in plain text next to the QR code for those cases when your authenticator app doesn't have a camera. Added another warning that if you haven't setup the authenticator app you should click on "disable" before you lock yourself out

• Domains blocked globally by the instance admin should not be able to subscribe via PuSH anymore

• Added reporting functionality. Account and any number of its toots can be selected to be submitted as a report with an optional additional commentary

• Improved admin UI a little

• Improved documentation

Thank you for your ongoing support! The amazing thing is that Mastodon is entering an ever more mainstream public awareness. I get screenshots from friends whose friends share their Mastodon profiles, we got some really cool people on the network, we're picking up the pace!

For the first time, there is a viable Twitter alternative, and with Twitter continuing to make mistakes and misunderstanding its users, we can only go uphill. Report functionality was one of the last big pieces of basic functionality that were missing, and I feel more confident in continuing our growth now that we have it.
