Chapter 8

Matt was completely overwhelmed by the sensuality of this amazonic lady. Brianna was so majestic, so tall and sexy. He couldn´t believe his luck.

And he´s really worried because Sally´s about to arrive. Even, of course, if she hasn´t said much of a thing. Not even a couple messages saying how much she misses him. Not even a single one.

Could this be his fault too? He´s been so distracted lately with his new amazon of a neighbor. Is there a lack of love from his part?

He´ll try his best to convince himself he couldn’t have made things work, but deep down, he fears there could be. What if things fail because of him as well? He´s not a man who´ll take this lightly, what if this is his fault as well? What if he´s not meant to have a relationship?

He can´t stop thinking about it, now that Brianna´s back at her place, he can´t help but to put the blame on him.

“Maybe I could´ve kept things interesting between me and Sally… perhaps, I could´ve tried harder. Fuck! Now I´ve cheated!” But he´s not the only one.

A while later, he received a call, finally a call from Sally.

“Hey! Sally, how are you, my love?” He feels guilty, no one can blame him.

“Hi, dear. I´m amazing! How about you?” she replied in such a positive tone.

“I…” I´ve been cheating? Having an affair? Not thinking enough on you? “I´ve missed you.” Those words sound so meaningless as he says them.

“Aww, I´ve… missed you too.” A pause? Why did she make a pause? “Listen, I know I haven´t called you as much. But I´ve been SOOO busy here with my training.” She lied, sort of, she´s been kind of busy, but not on work-related matters…

“Oh, don´t worry. I know you´re working.” She´s also kind of on vacations. If he knew the things she´s done, with some other guy…

“Working very hard. Actually, about that, I… I´ll stay here for another two days. Yeah, we need to cover an extra topic before completing the training.” Sally lied, looking at a hunky man next to her.

Her eyes, looking at his body, up and down. And her hand, caressing his chest as he stood next to her while she was on the phone.

“Oh, I see. It seems we won´t meet so soon…” He sounded a bit down, but this was actually good news. He still has time

Sally was lying to him, but so was he. None of them had actually said anything about the fact that they both met someone else… while still on a relationship with each other.

In a way, they were both cheaters. However, the only difference is that Sally did tell that guy, she´s currently kissing, that she had a boyfriend. However, she also said he wouldn´t know, and what he doesn´t know, won´t hurt him. And, shortly after, she did fell for his charms.

Relationships don´t always last forever. Matt and Sally´s relationship has been on thin ice for quite a while, and now, it seems things will definitely end. But not for the reasons he fears.

Soon, he´ll be told the news, until then, he´s got more time to spend with Brianna.

He truly missed Sally, but deep down he knows this is better. The fact that she´ll take more time to get here, that´s better. This gives him some extra time to think on a way to explain Brianna what has happened.

How? He´s unsure, but it´ll be way better if he tells her, rather than just waiting for her to find out.

Maybe two days aren´t that much, but if he manages to find enough time to think on the exact words to explain, then he might have a chance.

If only he had managed…

Overall, he had three days. This day, and two others. But he doesn´t have the full 24-hours of the day. Day one had already started, and subtracting the time he uses to sleep, he´s got about eight more hours. And the next day, he´s got work, and so does the day after.

Being generous, he´s got 24-hours, in total, to think on a way to explain. It could be as easy as to be sincere, right?

All Matt had to do was to find the right words. And he tried. He tried to make a small script, to put the key points on it. Trying to create a perfect way to tell Brianna he messed up, and at the same time, find a way to admit he did it only because he fell in love with her.

It does sound as if he was blaming her, but that´s something he´ll work on. That, if he has had enough time.

His free time was, practically, taken away by the 6´10” amazon. Brianna spent so much time at his place when she wasn´t at work.

He can´t blame her, he likes to spend time with her too. And this was so silly, the feeling he gets when she´s with him, it´s just so… tender. So special, something he hasn´t felt in quite a while.

But, was this all because of a lie? Has this all started because he cheated? He´s cheating on Sally, but he´s also lying to Brianna. This won´t end up nicely…

There´s something else that kept him from thinking how to explain. Brianna. Of course she wasn´t aware of any of this, and there´s no way she´d want him to hide something like this. However, there´s a reason, an effect she has over him, that makes him forget. Her body...

At first, Matt didn´t hear; and neither did Brianna. But Sally kept calling…

“Matt! Hello? Are you here?” She had something to tell him, and it had to be quick, there was someone waiting for her outside.

Sally went upstairs, certain that he might be on the shower, or even asleep. Who knows…

Sally went upstairs, following the little sound that came out of their bedroom. Unsure about what it could be. Ignoring some things he´s been doing as well…

“Matt?” Sally asked as she opened the door, only to find Matt all over Brianna.

“Fuck! S-Sally?” He said as soon as he spotted her.

What was she doing here? Why was she there? When? Wasn´t he going to pick her up at the airport tomorrow?

His heart skipped a beat, his mind was full of questions. He freaked out, quietly. However, Brianna didn´t take things so lightly…

“Matt, who… who is she?” She heard him call her name, but who is this? How did she get in? Brianna wondered as she covered herself with the sheets.

Sally wasn´t expecting this. She can´t be mad since she´s been doing the same. However, it was easy to spot that this woman, a complete stranger to him, was big. Who knows how tall, but her boobs were gigantic!

“I´m his girlfriend. Well, soon to be his ex.” Sally answered Brianna´s question. “But don´t feel bad, I… we had a relationship without love. My… my new boyfriend opened my eyes to it. He´s actually outside waiting for me.” It seems Sally´s been busy as well.

“I think it´s better to call this even and… just go our ways. I came here to pick my things, but I´ll come back later. I… I´ll leave you alone.” Sally said as she walked out of the room.

Matt drove his hands to his head. This was bad, this was really bad!

“You have a girlfriend?!” Brianna screamed, looking at him with anger in her eyes.

“I… I was going to tell you!” Matt said, trying to explain his intentions, trying to show her he was trying to make things right.

“Oh, don´t worry. Now I know!” Brianna said as she stood up. Picked her clothes and put them on. She was furious!

He was begging her for a chance as she stormed her way out of the room.

“Shut it! You fucking liar!” Brianna said.

Matt drove his hands to his face as Brianna walked out of the room. What has he done?

He cheated, that´s right, but he didn´t only lied to Sally. Instead, he hurt the lady he cared for the most.

Sally and him were over, it´s been like that for quite a while. He can´t deny he didn´t see this one coming. But, messing things up with Brianna? Already? She seems hurt, very angry, but in the end she´s hurt.

She trusted him, she liked being around him, and now, he betrayed her. She must feel destroyed, he basically crashed her trust apart.

“Did you tell him?” Sally´s new boyfriend ask.

“No, I didn´t have the chance. Apparently, he´s also seen another woman.” Sally replied.

“For real?” This guy couldn´t believe the odds.

As they were both talking, in front of the car parked outside, Brianna came out of the house. Dressed in a rush, barefoot, giving long, heavy strides. Carrying a frown on her face.

“Wow, that´s her? She´s huge!” The guy whispered as he saw the 6´10” amazon of a woman walking out. Sally simply nodded as Brianna made her way back home. Next door.

Matt messed up. Brianna was truly hurt. Plus, she felt so stupid! How come she didn´t realize he had a girlfriend? She trusted him!

She sat right behind the door. Crying. Once again, things were too good to be true. Once again, there was no guy for her. Once again, she was lonely…

Matt really messed up this time. Can he explain? How can he make amends? Sally was outside with who knows who. Well, that´s her lover, for sure, but there´s no name to the face yet.

But that´s unimportant. In the end, Sally will take her things and leave. This time, for real. The love they shared, that has already left so long ago. They were basically two people sharing a house, that´s all, not lovers, not a couple, just strangers.

In the end, Sally left. All of her stuff, all the things he hid, they were gone. Now, he was officially single. Now, there was no lie, now that the truth was out. The only problem is that the truth came to light without any intervention of his. He wasn´t sincere, he wasn´t honest; Matt just tried to hide things as much as he could, and he got this far, but now things were out in the open.

Now, Brianna knows the truth. He used to be worried about what Sally would think, but he had to see this one coming, she was numb about it. She couldn´t care less actually. She had already found a replacement to him.

Hopefully, she can find actual love with this guy.

It is Matt who´s the lonely one. But he´s not alone, Brianna must be feeling bad too. What can he do? Is there a way to make things right?
