Hey Protag, I am trying to upload this to a server for me and my buddies (dont worry, it doesnt break any of your rules), but I am spawning in a random place, and I cant seem to find the spawn structure to tp. Can you give me the coords?

Nevermind about spawn. I am dragging the singleplayer world into my server files, and it is cutting the spawn (in a line, so also cutting out the world) in half.

The map is specifically for 1.16.5, it was very very very clearly stated - the fact you didn't follow instructions sounds like a 3 IQ move on your own part. As I believe in 100% satisfaction with my stuff, I'll be refunding your Patreon and blocking you from future patronage.

This is because you aren't using the modpack provided. You must use the mods provided. Reinstall a fresh version following the instructions in 'READ ME'

yo i read the read me and dont know of this is a bug or im just stupid but I progressed through the story mode and it said go to the helicopter which i did but now its telling me to go to either new orleans or houston which is blocked off by the borders. Very confused on how to progress past the vectibird thing.

Nvm im just dumb. I think one of the problems was that I either updated some packs. Played the whole story mode and give 5/5 rating. This is the most fun ive ever had playing minecraft.

I was curious about how all this works. Got the map mainly to see if I could port it to bedrock, now while this will likely break the map. Just wanted to play it with my friends on there because well they don't play Java anymore. Just bedrock. Was attempting to figure out this world data thing and well it just doesn't appear accessible.

It's not, because we use a VAST number of modded blocks unavailable in Bedrock

I understand that. But what I'm trying to access is the world data. Now what happen if I converted it is the modded stuff would become another type of block that is known as unknown with a dirt texture, and a big question mark symbol on it as well. It's fine if getting ahold of this data is impossible. That's fine.

I'm having problems with a few of the mods after putting the world and mod on a server host, were they made for server hosting as well or am I doing something wrong? I'm very bad with files and computer technical stuff in general, I had someone I know help me fix a few things with it but when I check console while the server is turning on and it says a few modes have errors while loading and it causes the server to crash. I'm not sure if its because of my lack of knowledge or just not being properly informed. I've looked at the READ ME doc and I couldn't find anything about server hosting with the world and mod. If its a problem with the server host then I'm not sure what that problem would be because it seems like I've gotten everything worked out with it. The host is Apex. Sorry if I caused any confusion. (and yes, I do have the correct version 1.16.5 Forge) if this isn't a mod issue then sorry for bothering ya, and again sorry for the inconvenience, really love your videos man.

Unfortunately we don't offer server hosting support, you'll have to speak with Apex about any issues you're having there. Off the top of my head I know that the following mods should not be on the server: Optifine, MouseTweaks, Sounddeviceoptions, uteamcore, musicplayer

Sorry but I have another problem/question, when I check the drive I'm not too sure which file is the actual world, I checked READ ME again and I'm still confused. Sorry for being kinda clueless :(

If you follow the READ ME correctly, you should be able to easily install the FALLOUT profile on Modrinth or Curseforge. Once installed you will open it, and inside the singleplayer menu you'll see the world

This is most likely an issue with your Minecraft or Curseforge/Modrinth install itself - unfortunately this isn't something we're able to diagnose, as the pack works with everyone else. Try switching from using Curseforge or Modrinth to the opposite

So.. i was looking in the modpack? and umm.. the modlist.html for one is not listing all the mods why? (i looked in the mod folder)... and then i discovered you "renamed" mods ...to hide them? never seen that done.. so just i have an overall "Why" question to everything i just said.. i have zero install problems ..... just perplexed at your method..

If we include a customized version of a mod where we edit source code, it makes it 'unavailable' in the curseforge database. We don't rename mods just to hide them

Just wondering, in the Story version of the map I cant get any of the quest's to work [atleast I assume thats what most of the npc's are for, like the one outside the vault] is it broken or am I just doing something wrong lol [Its probably just me pressing a wrong button but I would still like to know.]

As per our terms of use, you can host a server and play it with up to 10 of your friends. Any further and you enter the realm of commercial use.

Hey there! I just downloaded and have started playing the map. It's sooo cool. I just need help with something. I'm stuck at one of the first quest steps. After I looted the chopper outside the vault, i grabbed the "Orders" and it indicated to me that I should go to the Prydwen at Houston. I made it and now i am not sure what the next step is. I went to talk to the elder but nothing is popping up. Did I miss something? Can I get some help pleaseeeee?

This is an issue we’ve encountered in the past, sorry for that happening. I can’t remember the issue off the top of my head but here are my two recommendations:

1. It’s not the elder you need to speak with, it’s someone else aboard the ship

2. If you aren’t able to talk with anyone at all, I believe it’s a glitch where you need to reinstall or change something in config. If reinstalling didn’t fix it, try joining our discord and create a ticket for our developer to help you!

The storymode has more limited loot, so either find the ingredients to craft one, or find one in a loot pool!

That's impossible, half the map uses modded blocks.

It’s most likely a glitch where your old spawnpoint is outside the worldborder. Try going into spectator, finding a new point inside the worldborder, and running /setworldspawn

Im having audio troubles while running the story mode (haven't played the open world) and i cant seem to figure it out. There's no sound at all and nothing seems to work (at least what I've tried). Is it a mod conflict?

Try going into the Options -> Music/Sound tab (whatever it's called) and change the Audio Output to your desired device. It's an option at the bottom.

That didn't work either. I tried seeing if it ways an issue with my PCs audio but its only this Map that has no sound

The last thing I can recommend is to try reinstalling the map/pack. I’ve never once heard of this being an issue

You need to correctly install the modpack by following the tutorial in the Read Me document

Whenever I try to import the modpack to curseforge I always get the same error: "Failed to import modpack" I'm not sure if I have the file saved in the wrong format or some kind of curseforge update messed up how its uploaded. This is also a problem in modrinth as it gives me the same problem of not being able to import the file. I've watched your video on how to import the modpacks to curseforge and modrinth alike and neither accept the file when I try to upload it. Do you know why this is happening?

No sorry the story version was not working via Curseforge - it's Modrinth only

I've just manually confirmed that it works 100% - please make sure you're downloading the correct file (Curseforge = .zip, Modrinth = .mrpack) Also make sure to follow the tutorial video included in the "read me" file

What's the difference between open world and story map?

The story has a linear campaign you need to follow, a storyline. The open world is just the world as is where you can do anything you'd like.

I have a question, I have looked at your video on how to download the map and mods using the modrinth app, but once I load up the game I have a problem with the fallout map in particular where I can’t break anything without it replacing almost immediately and I’m not sure if that’s the story aspect that won’t let me break anything until I finish it or if my game is bugged and I don’t know what to do, I ended up getting stuck in a 2 block hole and I couldn’t escape because I couldn’t break nor place a block to save my life, can you help me with this issue in any way? And lastly I’m not sure how to activate a resource pack on Java as this is one of my first times ever playing on Java, I would appreciate your help thank you !!🙏🏽

1. In the story mode you cannot place/break blocks 2. If you end up stuck, run “/gamemode creative” and fly out then run “/gamemode adventure” once you’re good. We tried to patch every hole but it’s not always possible. 3. Turn on resource packs by going into your Esc menu, pushing “Resource Packs” and find the Fallout pack, click the arrow to bring it over to the right side of the screen to the top.

one more question, for the story mode, do you have to finish certain missions for certain npc's to be able to move to other areas (cities and such) i ask because i noticed this green barrier once i try to go past a certain point, im not sure if thats a bug on my end or if that is as intended.

Don't worry about it, you don't need to update any mods!

The first quest involves going West to the Brotherhood of Steel airship - where you'll talk to one of the NPCs (I think in the armory area?)

IF you installed it correctly, following the tutorial, you should spawn in our spawn lobby and have a bunch of buttons to push with signs telling you what those buttons do.

No it is very dependent on mods, the map will break without them - many many blocks will be missing all over.

You're definitely able to do that yes! However only one of you needs to purchase the pack/VIP. There should be adequate files inside to enable you to host a server, but for actually setting up and hosting the server itself we don't provide support for that.

Hey there, in the story map I'm not able to cut wood. It always respawns directly and don't drop any wood. Is this a known issue ? On game startup I receive the error "JSON error in spawner.json". check log for details. (Not a JSON Object:null). Could you pls. support ?

I believe the story map is entirely adventure mode, meaning you cannot place/break blocks. Also the JSON error you can ignore, it doesn't do anything
