Hey all! We just got done a solid recording session today. New ContinueCast (with a SPECIAL GUEST) and a couple weeks worth of Cuphead and For the King are in the bag.

Nick and I are getting together later this week and we wanna play some games as one off episodes (not ContinueQuest, just things we can play in one session real quick).

Leave some suggestions of good short/simple games. Preferably stuff we can play on PC (emulator stuff is probably good!)

David Cole

Rogue Trip for the PS1. It's like Twisted Metal but goofy and more over the top! You have to pick up tourists and other players/CPUs try to kill you and get them for themselves.

Phazon

Fortnite Battle Royale is free right now, pretty fun with a friend too if you can link up somehow. Really good for a one-off episode too because battles take half an hour mostly.

Chris Cwik

Please play Tiny Toon Adventures: ACME All-Stars. I remember soccer and basketball being the best two games on there. Makes for a good one-off.

Jeremy Bowser

FTL (Faster Than Light). Dope game on the PC that feels kinda like a Star Trek game.

Taht sounds liken a great game for the regular show, actually. I'm gonna add that to our to-play list

We played a session of that a ways back and it crashed! I'm making him try it again

Tim I Hely

West of Loathing Risk of Rain Barony

Justin Ciner

I know you guys said you weren't big into Sonic, but Sonic Mania is really tight, and you can knock it out pretty easily in one sitting.

MaxBoltzman

Dead Cells is a lot of fun.

Yeah it's pretty similar to Player unknowns Battlegrounds but it's free, and on consoles as well. My friends and I have a blast playing it.

Risk of Rain seems like something Nick would dig. I have it too which is nice

T.J. Denzer

Check out JYDGE. It’s a run and gunner that sort of like if Hotline Miami and Judge Dredd had sex babies. Some good and mindless fun.

Dan Houser

Freedom Force - It's on GOG.Com - I can send you guys a copy. It emulates an old Superhero comic from the 1960s.

Dan Houser

Arcade games! Check out MAME - The Outfoxies. Dead Connection Metal Slug -- any one of those, they're all entertaining to watch

Nicholas Case

I'll suggest two: "Mount Your Friends" and if you aren't feeling competitive, check out McPixel

Try 'Dead Cells'. Its a cool early-access game with randomly generated Symphony of the Night gameplay. It has incredible 2D sprite animation.

Kerry Burke

Not up to date on short PC games so I'll suggest two games of my childhood, Pilot wings and Turtles in Time lol

Kerry Burke

Oh and any Castlevainia game would be for October!

Mitchell Ratliff

Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA. I'm not a big racing game fan, but the physics in that game are so ridiculous that I think you guys would have some fun with it.

Cesar The Salad

Would a classic arcade game work? If that's the case I'd love to recommend Lucky & Wild. It's a 2 player buddy cop game! And its um... wild!

Sean Dupree

Next month, as you know, is fantasy month, you should play the NES cult favorite Faxanadu. It's got everything: swords, magic, grinding, elves, a decent length

noisyturtle

If you can emulate Dreamcast games, LOL: Lack of Love is one of the weirdest journey's you can take. And no other let's play channel has done it afaik. And if you're going the emulation rout, I'd kick a ninja to the moon to see some Neo Geo games on Continue, Windjammers is super fun with two players.

Roger Rueda

Halloween season, so how about a "The Binding of Isaac" session?

Anthony the Calzone Dude

I'd recommend Battleblock Theatre or Divinity Original Sin 2 for PC. But for snes full playthrough of Zombies Ate My Neighbours would be awesome.

Joshua Chap

Stick Fight: the game or Golf with your Friends are both simple fun indie multiplayer games

For the PC there's always the Star Wars battlefront series or Battlefield 1942. You could play a few rounds of those or maybe Postal 2? Lotsa fun there. There's always Colecovision games? Zaxxon or Something? Those are a fun quick play.

Jon Ritter

Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl (Genesis) (I will never stop pitching this until I see you guys play it) "Who's your daddy" (Steam) Castle Crashers (Steam, PS3, XB360) Smash TV (SNES) Gauntlet (NES, N64) Rampage (NES, N64/PSX)

Johnny Ketchum

I know you guys said you’ve played Ken Griffey but lost the footage I believe, I’d love to see you guys do that game justice as it’s always fun to see y’all play baseball games and we’re getting close to the World Series!

Christian J. Pierce

I had a TON of fun with backyard baseball on PC as a kid. I was also a HUGERE age of empires guy lmao. (Unrelated, play fucking time splitters those games rule) OR ANY BARBIE GAME the PC are goddamn wild.

Gregg Grose

Looks like a lot of baseball suggestions - I'll throw in Bad News Baseball on NES. It's just a basic baseball game but arcade style with cute/weird Japanese cut scenes. Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball on NES is also interesting, lots of different characters with random abilities.

GhostSurfer

Y'all should do Oxenfree, I think it's pretty short. Firewatch is pretty short too, both can be scary at times, if you play them make sure the lights are off. Maybe cuddle with a blanky lol

Cameron Emmons

A fun multiplayer game to play versus each other would be Duck Game, but a nice cooperative game would be the 2014 Gauntlet

Ronny LeCheminant

You guys ever played Risk of Rain? Really cool multiplayer roguelike sorta deal.

Roger Rueda

Yo! It's October! Play some Castlevania games! Which one?! Well that's up to y'all! 😎

Kerry Burke

Personally I think you guys are overdue for a hockey game, NHL Stanley Cup for the SNES would fill that void.
