Content

Hey all!

So we recently launched a new channel, and it's part of our plans to diversify our content and clean up the main channel a bit. You can sub to it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRoAxBvyr4BL2H3tE7tQl8A

Our idea is to move longer Let's plays like ContinueQuest over to that channel, while leaving the main show and one-offs on the Continue? channel.

So, as we embark on new longer-format show, what kind of games would you like to see us play?

Any more content from you guys will make me happy!

Rachel Friemel

That’s really tough to vote on. I think anything you guys would play would be fun to watch.

Ian Ebert

Oblivion would be an awesome series imo. But anything you fellas play would be great

MaxBoltzman

Have Josh finally play FFVII.

Torzelan

Whatever you have fun doing is always fun watching. Undying love for retro games though, don't mind casting a vote on that. By the way, might die of joy if you guys ContinueQuested through the original Diablo in co-op. Just saying.

Kerry Burke

I'd still love to see FFVII, I hold it very dear to my heart and would think it'd funny to see Josh experience it for the first time.

Phil Montgomery

I would honestly love to see everything, and have voted thusly. 1) Normal Boots Crew/Continue? joint series of Monster Hunter World? 2) The streaming of ContinueQuest episodes and the Editing streams are a dope idea, and I'm sure a lot of us agree. 3) Torzelan is right, Play some Diablo/2/3 together. 4) Behind the Scenes stuff from new shorts being filmed? 5) I'm gonna keep pushing for a Breath of Fire 3 (PS1) ContinueQuest/Stream, because it would make my Phil heart happy.

Nicholas Case

Just to use it as a frame of reference, I always enjoy when the Grumps do their VS series. Likewise I love your continue episodes on fighting games and could definitely go for more of the same. I voted competitive games but I was thinking you should consider even party games like Jackbox, Duck Game, Mario Kart/Party.

Jon Ritter

Drinking Mario Kart - need to finish your drink before the end of the race but can only drink without holding the controller (cause drinking and driving is bad).

Absolute Marc

personally, I prefer the long form older stuff: RPGs, old games continue covered years ago, sports games. I tend to avoid continue quest when its a newer game, mostly because it always ends up with me just watching the let's play and never buying the game. At least when a newer game was on Continue it was more of a tasting plate and by the end of the episode i was more invested in getting it for myself.

Ben

If you guys actually play a game you said you'd continue I don't know what this show is anymore /s. Dragon quest was such a fun lets play. I'd love to see y'all take a crack at the original final fantasy. I'm also gonna stay out here banging the mass effect drum

Skelefella

Aw man all the stuff I voted for has low votes, hahaha. Personally I've always seen Continue? being less about the continue/game over format and more about three dudes just hanging out having a good time, so i'd love to see you guys focus more on playing multiplayer games together. Looking at some of your past multiplayer episodes such as Sammy Sosa, Ikari Warriors, Sports Month episodes, Horse month episodes, and even recent entries such as the Bomberman games and Pigskin Football, they all shine above the other episodes in my opinion and it's mostly due to all three of you guys having a good time together. So yeah, i'm all for more multiplayer Continue, maybe even a special sports night (like Super Best Friends Play has with their Fighting game nights) or competitions/challenges. Also, while I love retro games I feel like it's been so exhausted on Youtube these days, so I imagine branching out into more modern stuff would be good too.

Tom Garrett

This is tough, because I think all of these ideas could be great. I do think that retro games (other than RPGs) lend themselves more to the jump-in-and-play style of Continue, while modern games work better as longplays. I can say that something like Kingsway or For the King have been games that I specifically got into / became interested in because I saw you guys play them over the course of several weeks. TL;DR - Continue for a retro game nostalgia shot, this new channel for a smooth six-pack buzz of contemporary games.

CaptRamune

I'd be down with all of the above, really. Although I do agree with Tom that retro games lend themselves better to one-offs rather than longplays.

Ariel

I love when you guys play sports games because you get competitive and it's hilarious. Also, if you're restructuring your channel, would it be possible to organize the main Continue? episodes by year or something? I've gotten my boyfriend into the show but he won't watch on his own because he's a lazy piece of shit who doesn't like scrolling right for a few minutes on the PS4 to find the episode he's on.

Christian J. Pierce

I love when you guys play super new games. Rollercoaster world is a good example. So new it isn’t even done yet lmao

uwls_

I like when you do simpler single player games like Dragon Warrior. That one was entertaining because I could leave it on in the background and just listen to you talk while I worked.

Lord PichuPal

Honestly I like all of these choices, any kind of games you guys feel compelled to play would be fun. I do support the idea of longer RPGs or classic games, or maybe revisit games you've played on the show that you really enjoyed to try again. Plus I am a sports fan, so I find it entertaining when you try something like that. Really can't go wrong with anything you decide to try doing.

Christian J. Pierce

you know what would be REALLY cool is if you guys went back and replayed some games from the Dom days. As like a special edition episode or something. That would be very cool.

Alfredo Colindres

I would love to see you replay the games from your gamervision days since Josh wasn't around for those. More competitive and co-op games seem fun too.

Joshua Chap

I would be happy with whatever you guys feel is the best for both channels.
