About the doctor party, my mom is a research scientist, and at her graduation one of her classmates' parents introduced her and the classmate to a friend by saying "She's a doctor, but not the kind that helps people!"

I saw you just put some ContinueCasts on iTunes - is there any chance we could get them on Google Play Music (or whatever it's called) too?

I'll totally look into that! Pretty sure I saw an option to send it there in Libsyn.

Bees of War!

I've checked a few times since yesterday but am not seeing anything yet. But there's always the possibility that I'm doing something super wrong. Thanks, though!

The Long Dark does the "lift and learn" mechanic nicely, with survival/ crafting mechanics worked into the gameplay. A little heavy on exposition at times but delivers the story in tasty bits. A game I would recommend if you're interested in something golden but under the radar would be The Order 1886. Short and sweet. The gameplay and storytelling can feel polarizing but I think that plays into it's strengths

Asking for this too. I'm an android/google user, so that helps out people like me that listen in the car too with Android Auto and whatnot. Also, love you guys. <3

The Long Dark sounds interesting! I was totally eyeing up the Order 1886 when it came out, didn't know it was super short. That makes me more likely to check that out. Could be good games for a book club episode of the show! Thanks for the suggestions, other Joshua

I never played Gone Home, but I played a similar game called A Normal Lost Phone on Steam, and it was only a few bucks. It's entirely about digging through someone's phone and piecing a story together with some minor puzzle elements. I don't know if it's very discussion-producing, but it's still pretty dramatic and thought-provoking for a short playthrough.

My GF is getting in to games at 27 but third person/first person shooters she struggles with as using the right control stick for the camera and aiming isn't normal for like it is for me. I recently played The Last of Us and she watched and got super absorbed in to it. Was a great experience playing one of my favorite games and getting to watch someone else experience the story for the first time and see how they react
