This week's episode covers Deltarune, the followup/prequel?/maybe not even related to Undertale game by Toby Fox.

We also compare Fox to Weezer a lot, and Josh teaches us about the Time Before Adobe.

Fanbases ruin so many otherwise good games. Undertale is awesome, but I agree. But people are insufferable, you are supposed to fall for killing the first enemy I think. It makes the reveal of sans telling you that you are a murderer so much more HEAVY.

Your coffee talk brought up how shitty the water is in WV. I grew up in West Virginia and can reassure you that the water there is absolutely atrocious. At one point when I was growing up you could light our tap on fire via a lighter due to gas and chemical leaks. And several other times growing up we had to just not shower for a few days because of the cancer water. I also swam in a river once (the Potomac) and flesh eating bacteria got in my body and I had to have major surgery to not die. The lesson is: PLAY IT SAFE: DON'T DRINK W. VA TAPWATER.

Y'all talkin Wisconsin Old Fashioneds? That stuff is in our mother's milk. Ever make an Old Fashioned with demerara syrup? Ooh, or maple syrup?

Super great discussion--I had never considered before the way in which I played Undertale "wrong," after having seen the first section of the game and then purposely not killing Toriel. On the other hand, doing that is what helped me experience the Pacifist ending, which I might not have done had I needed to go back and finish it--it really brings up the question of what the "true" experience is, and whether that matters.

On that a Adobe discussion at the beginning... Hold shift?..... HOLD SHIFT?! Good lord that's been driving me nuts for weeks. Thank you, Nick Murphy. Thank you. Why they changed that from how that function has operated since Windows 95 MS fucking Paint, I'll never know.
