Hey! Sorry for the delay in posting this. We definitely planned to post it last week. But here it is now.

Enjoying hearing about Josh's very bad terrible couple of months. Also we talk about some video games, I think!

If you're curious, I believe the person entering in "Sargon" as their cancelling reason is related to a disagreement over Patreon ethics and isn't due to the views and beliefs that you guys have. As always, the issue is complicated and divisive but that might be an interesting note for you.

I'm simultaneously surprised and disappointed by those voices. You're comedians, its assumed that you'll be cracking jokes and agreeing 100% isn't the point or required. I'm glad you guys have been vocal. As you stated in this episode, you've continued to be yourselves and do the stuff you desired to. We stick around for you, not transitory fads. 🧡

Super late to the party commenting on this one since i'm kinda chipping away at these older podcast episodes while at work, but I wanted to add a comment: First off, sorry to hear you lost your cat Josh. Losing pets is a terrible experience. I hear a lot of people recommend Rats as pets because they're very loyal and loving (as well as intelligent), but then they'll turn around and tell you how Rats have a 2-3 year life expectancy. All I can think hearing that is how the hell can you own a pet knowing that you'll lose it that soon? That would break my heart. But you gotta know that you gave them all the love and enjoyment they could ever hope to get out of life no matter how short it is. And Paul i'm right there with you on games bombarding you with items these days. I was playing Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U not long ago - which is a very cool sci-fi JRPG - but man after every single battle you get like 3 weapons and 5 pieces of equipment. So the battle ends, then you go through your inventory to sift through the 1000s of gear pieces you got from prior battles just to see if what you just got was worth equipping. You don't want to discard it because you could sell it when you get back to town. It's legit ridiculous.
