The CCast is back baby! We wanted to release this one to all patrons together since it's number 100 and a big old special occasion. We revisit one of our most nostalgia-tinged games, Final Fantasy 7, by playing the remake and comparing our memories (which are bad) and our new experiences.

Leave your thoughts below! We'll be doing another episode when we finish playing and would love to hear your comments/thoughts.

I'm kinda confused by some of the hate FF7R received. I get that some people are miffed that they took a small part of the game and stretched it out but personally, them taking one of my favorite games and putting more life and personality into it...I couldn't ask for more. The twist that Paul thinks he heard, I practically applauded at the ending as it was so far from what I was expecting and its great that the developers knew that they needed to mix up a 20+ year old game. The only negative I had, and that comes from playing the original is that when you know what is coming around the corner, and in the original is 15-20 minutes away from happening, is then stretched out to 3-4 hours, it kinda kills the pacing so I would be interested to know how someone felt that had never played the original. I'd also like to hear Paul's opinion on this (its impossible to say what bit I'm talking about without spoiling it)
