Hi! So we've made mention of a re-launch of tiers for the patreon... and one of those includes bringing back a beloved show - exclusively for our patrons.

If we were to revisit some classic continue games/ check out some new ContinueQuests, what would you all like to see? Leave it as a comment below so we can start making a list.

A revival of tales from the tavern!

Jared

The Yakuza games would be fun to watch on ContinueQuest

Ben 'Desrath' Buehler

Ahhhhhh! I can't think of any suggestions I'm just really excited for this!

Phil Montgomery

A ContinueQuest of Saiyuki: Journey West?

Dubayawalta

Any RPG where you all can just shoot the breeze and do you thing pleeeeease

Will Holmes

Oh I'm sorry WHAT?! This is a dream come true. I'd throw my hat in the ring for FFV, especially with the pixel remake coming soon for it. It's a classic.

RespectMeDaddy

I would love to see a ContinueQuest of Divinity 2!

Sean (Dogfort)

Excited, I've been really missing the long plays and the podcast

Don Cranken

If you can finish super Mario rpg I’d be all for it.

Sean Johnson

For continued the rule was it has to be something you all have a continue to, right? Off of the top of my head I would say Def Jam: Fight for NY. For continuequest, maybe pschyonauts 2 or Horizon Zero Dawn?

chris schlegel

More dragon quests for continue quest. Josh seemed to enjoy the series iirc and made watching the play through fun

Dennis

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy or Jade Empire

Bryn Davies

It has to be X-Men Legends. I’d love a three X-Man team with my three favorite internet dads

Cesar The Salad

Please please finish Secret of Mana! I loved the conversations that came out of that one.

KTM

I would love to see your Secret of Mana playthrough get finished, and I second more Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest games. I adore the Dragon Warrior playthrough where Josh told the "hell trip to Florida" story. Just spacing out while grinding and talking about random things is my favorite.

David Sandoval

Control (I know Josh is a busy boy, but this is conspiracy XFiles the game...so...ya know...) Horizon Zero Dawn Titanfall 2 Campaign More Bridge Crew More Nidhogg or Nidhogg 2 Star Wars Fallen Order Bloodborne PS4 Spiderman / Miles Morales Whatever that two player break out of jail game was. Just wanna add the Mortal Kombat X and 11 single player campaigns.

HeyJoshRob

There's a PlayStation 2 game based on the 1979 film The Warriors; it's two-player, has most of the original cast, and is a super fun 3d beat-em-up. it is available on ps store and emulator. That would be a lot of fun to see!

Blake Caven

I'm so excited for this! I can't think of anything specifically, but I would say my most enjoyable continue quest watching came from games that A) at least one of your knew well or were somewhat familiar with, and B) had stretches of story-lite gameplay that allowed y'all to just tell stories and BS. Those were a formula for crazy good times.

Evan Meister

I'd love to see you go back to basically any game that pits you boys against each other, especially sports games. More 3-player co-op games for Continue Quest. Really enjoyed the For the King playthrough. Maybe Diablo III or Marvel: Ultimate Alliance?

Dan

If Mario RPG could make a return I would be happy with that, or maybe even Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. On the other end of the spectrum, seeing Josh finally have his day with a game like Quest 64 and an Elder Scrolls title would be fun to see. I would be for any game that is conducive to a 20-30 minute video per episode. Nothing too grindy or bogged down with long stretches of story that everyone has to be quiet for. I really enjoyed it when all three of you were together for a game like For the King, that was a real treat to see every week. I also enjoyed it when there were occasional wild card entry, something like Spiritual Warfare for the NES. Anything that nobody really knows what to expect.

Dani Ruiz-Espinoza

This one’s more for mainline continue but we still need the Kirby Dream Course rubber match between just in the Nick of Paul

Max Power

I think we need another round of Sammy Sossa up in here. Maybe revisit World's Scariest Police Chases, too! And, maybe this is one is out there, but I'd love to see you guys do a full exploration of that Playstation Demo Disc horror game.

Alex Hearn

I think "that two player break out of jail game" mentioned by David is called A Way Out.

Isaac Forde

Bridge crew was so funny. Anything like that would be great. If there's a way to include Kevin or other guests i'd vote for that.

Joverthemoon

Earthbound might be fun. Or Nino Kuni?

RespectMeDaddy

Another good game would be a head to head of Blood Bowl 2

Max Power

You guys would really enjoy the remake of A Boy And His Blob.

I have a few requests. 1. WE NEED TO WATCH JOSH PLAY THROUGH QUEST 64. THIS IS NECESSARY. 2. When you do turn-based RPGs, PLEASE do not skip through the battles and dialogue like you did with FFVII. I hated that playthrough because in those kinds of games, battles and dialogue ARE the game, so if you're just skipping through all that shit then you're not even playing it, you're skipping the entire experience. It was horrible. Your Dragon Quest/Warrior playthrough on the other hand was incredible because you guys took your time, allowed the game to carry out naturally, and had chill conversations while grinding through shitloads of repetitive battles. THAT'S how you should do turn-based RPGs in the future: more like your Dragon Quest/Warrior playthrough, less like your FFVII playthrough. 3. EarthBound is my favorite game of all time, so as long as you treat it with respect like you did with Dragon Quest/Warrior and not play it the way you played FFVII, I would love to watch you guys play through it. It's one of those games that seems so innocuous, simple, cute, unassuming, and mildly entertaining at first, and then slowly gets more serious and epic and dark as it goes on until by the end shit is absolutely nightmare-inducing and heavy. If you don't know how to win the final battle, don't look it up and spoil the experience for yourselves. It's far more impactful when you have to figure it out on your own. Also, as a respectful word of advice and not a demand, 90% of the game's charm is in its dialogue, so the best way to experience it is to talk to all the NPCs and listen to all the crazy shit they say, it adds a ton of entertainment value. It's very much a "stop and smell the roses" kind of game, so you'll appreciate the experience a lot more if you do it that way rather than skipping over everyone you come across just to move on to the next objective. Love you dudes, thanks for all the entertainment. <3

Dani Ruiz-Espinoza

In lieu of today's episode, I think we need 3-4 player Goldeneye multiplayer baybeee! And I'll also throw in some more Kirby Air Ride and Super Monkey Ball

David Booth

I see a lot of Def Jam 2 requests, and if it does return, I would say check out the story mode. I can't remember what the pacing was like, I just remember loving it in high school.

Hoss

Since you guys did FF7 I would definitely love to see remake as a continue quest

Joshua

Dragon Quest 8

Alchestra

Some ideas I have are: For the King, but maybe try different classes (really enjoyed this one) FF7 Remake Elder Scrolls Chrono Cross Legend of Dragoon I'm mostly interested in RPG playthroughs, but I would watch and enjoy anything you guys play.

Keith G

You guys should peep out Onimusha Warlords. It's basically Samurai resident evil.
