Paul, it wouldn't make sense for you to go left up or down stairs and then continue left after you get up or downstairs. The building can't go left indefinitely, the stairs have to curve you back to the right just like in real life. Don't blame the game for your own incompetence lol. If you always make the same mistake and never learn from it, then that's your fault, not the game's.

Lee, it's not incompetence. I know how to walk up and down stairs. This is a video game. When you are hitting left and then you appear in another room, continuing to press left is a natural instinct.

The "lol" was intended to indicate that I was giving you shit lol. You live in Philadelphia, you've got to have thicker skin than that, dude. I wasn't implying that you don't know how stairs work, I'm telling you to just apply your real life know-how to the game because the stairs in the game work the same as real stairs; they wrap around and turn you back the opposite way that you entered them from. It's not incompetence when you make the mistake a couple times, but when by your own admission you always do that and keep making the same mistake and never learn from it and correct it...that's incompetence. :P I'm a diehard fan, I've seen all your shit, all of Continue including the early days, all of 5x5, Pretend Friends, everything. But if you're gonna be a dumb-dumb, you know I'm gonna heckle you.

I think inferring that someone has "thicker skin" based on where they're located geographically is one of the most confusing sentiments I've read online. And for the record; being a diehard fan doesn't give you carte blanche to be a dick under the guise of "being a funny heckler."

I lived in Philadelphia and went to college there. I am fully aware of how the city of "No one likes us, we don't care" functions. I suppose my broader point is that calling someone incompetent about a thing they dislike about a games design seems a far cry just playfully messing with someone.

When someone is blaming the game for making the same mistake over and over instead of learning from and correcting their actions, that's pretty incompetent lol, and only a prideful ego would stop someone from taking a small jab at their silliness personally instead of just laughing at themselves and admitting to acting like a dummy. I know when I do something dumb, and when it's rightly called out, I can sheepishly laugh at myself, admit to being a dummy, and then correct that behavior going forward so as to not continue being a dummy. If you can't laugh at yourself, you're taking yourself too seriously. All I'm saying is chill out, laugh at your mistakes, and correct them.
