Every complaint you guys had throughout the game was your own faults for playing it the way you did: weeks apart, following a guide instead of getting immersed, talking over everything instead of letting it charm you, not paying attention to things the game was telling you, etc. I had a big, long, angry comment typed up before I got to the credits sequence when you guys are FINALLY being fair to the game and taking responsibility for the shitty way you played it being the cause of your displeasure with it, and I've deleted it and typed this instead, because at least you're taking ownership of some of your grievous mistakes in the way you played this. It really all boils down to this: EarthBound is about sentimentality, and you guys played it in the least sentimental, most robotic, rushing way possible. If I didn't know better it would almost seem like you were purposely doing everything in your power to ensure you couldn't enjoy it. EarthBound is supposed to make you feel, and you guys didn't give it the opportunity, so you felt nothing and you didn't grow throughout the experience like you would have if you had played it the real way. Because of that, the game wasn't enjolyable for you and the playthrough wasn't enjoyable for me. Every time you guys threw a fit about the game, which was always borne from your own dumb mistakes, I wanted to wring your necks. Just stay away from long games, they don't work for your format and you just end up hating it and I end up hating watching it. It sucks. Don't do this kind of thing. It's always terrible. It was terrible with FFVII and it was terrible here. Stick with shorter things that require less of your time and attention to appreciate.

Just finished the whole series this morning! Loved it just as much as the Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger and FF7 runs! Thanks for providing all the hours of adventuring and goofs! Always been a fan of the Continuequests so it's great to see them back again these past couple of years!
