There are so many amazing things in this update! First, how Nao's behavior is SO different! Not only with other, but even with Souta. He's a lot more relaxed, even his teasing has changed now. He's feeling lighter and it's so visible! You also subtly put Souta's worst fear there, in a very Souta way of not making a big deal out of it. Him making sure Nao won't forget/abandon him now that things are changing just had to be done, cause it is a very real worry of Souta's. Then that Arashi guy giving me the CHILLS and making me kinda TERRIFIED. When Nao said he had plans with him later, I thought Souta was going to be kinda worried. But he's always that little ray of sunshine, wishing for what it's better for Nao. I'm glad he apparently didn't feel intimidated (this may very well change, but I'm just gonna enjoy this win today). Also, I'm more certain now that we'll meet that new character you recently showed us when Souta's at the Café later. Two new characters that we don't know what to expect of make me afraid, ngl. But well, the plot is moving, that's what matters *bites nails* And lastly, of course, THE FUCKING MOMENT!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!! Ok, of course we know it was Souta lashing out on Nao that made him actually show up for practice. But there's a difference in him SHOWING UP and him JOINING THE TEAM!! I'm getting ready to swoon next update with Nao saying he actually always wanted to be friends with Souta, or get closer to him in some manner, but not knowing how (considering Souta seemed to hate him), and that's why he accepted Takahashi's invitation to join the club. It makes excited if this happens not only because it's gonna be CUTE AS HELL Nao finally showing Souta's importance to him even before he knew it (and potentially, as I believe, that Nao had a crush on him all along), but also cause maybe we'll finally learn more about what happened between them in their first year (I have a theory, let's see if it's correct). Anyway, this might be the longest comment I've ever written in my entire life, so I'm gonna stop here. There's a huge possibility I'll keep coming back and commenting even more as I re-read it nonstop, but well... it's nothing new how much I talk :D

Now he can't do nothing but stand there and soak in these amazing but confusing words coming from his crush's mouth. And the slouched relaxed way Nao is standing when he says those last lines?! Homie is dropping new facts on Souta like he's telling him they go to the same school. Sir, this is news to him. He didn't know! 😭❤️
