Honestly, I think we know by now that Souta and Nao will end up together. Yes, it’s great that Nao has been able to be so comfortable with Souta, but seeing how he’s finally able to just talk to lots people like he used to as a kid, and be comfortable with other people other than Souta, is really good. I hope they get to be really good friends. (But yeah, pretty sure she might be the “rival” Aina was talking about 😅 Souta will definitely jump to conclusions no matter what the truth is.)

In my (delusional) mind it’s a fake out rival, she’s actually a lesbian, and she becomes good friends with Souta too and ends up shipping our boys. Ideally she’d become a confidant for Souta to come out to and ask for advice about Nao and the queer world in general. I love my delusions!!!

If this is Arashi, I wonder if she texted Nao about the concert that Souta is saving up money for. If they like the same music, I could see her being super excited and wanting to go with Nao! Then Souta will have to decide if he will reveal his surprise plan to Nao or let Nao go with Arashi and be insecure about it (which I could see him doing) I just hope Souta doesn’t beat himself up for being a bit jealous of Nao’s new friends.

Heres my theory. I don't think he'll immediately think she'll try to steal Nao but Souta will think it's better for Nao to be with a girl rather than him.
