Oh boy we reached the Ferris Wheel of Doom. Realistically, Arashi’s plan will come to life and she gets to sit with Nao. However, in my funni world, she gets stuff with Takeo yapping her ears off. If I continue to believe this maybe it will manifest. ANYWAYS. God you can see how little Nao pays attention to her. She grabs his attention and loses it within the same 3 seconds. I’m not sure how she hasn’t realized he isn’t into her but maybe the rose tinted hair tips are in the way. Hopefully she gets to confess, doesn’t get the Inoue Rejection and bows out. Assuming she doesn’t want to be friends anymore which would be a massive bummer. But Nao deserves to make friends who actually want to be friends and not a potential BF.

I am so curious as to how this will unfold! We've been waiting for the ferris wheel for a while (and I'm sure it'll be worth it)! I hope the seating arrangements look something like: Souta and Nao (obviously), Keisuke and Inoue, and Takeo and Arashi. Although I also think it would be interesting if Arashi and Inoue sat together. Maybe Inoue would give some sort of advice? Perhaps about keeping Souta out of whatever she's got going on?????? I'll be happy with anything, really (this is a lie). What I mean is whatever the arrangements or plans are, I trust that Aina will make it the best it can be!! <3 Here's to hoping Nao will kinda force the sitting-with-Souta thing. I notice that we keep seeing like small moments that slowly build reluctance in souta and nao and it’s really interesting to me how this alternates between each update. I wonder is maybe this will continue in the next panels and inoue will try to take the wheel with arashi and then souta will offer to go with her instead to sort of be the ‘wingman’.

for everyone who thinks Nao will say yes to Arashi and date her to get over Souta: that is not Nao’s personality. he is NOT performative and can’t fake emotion to save his life. think about how hard he had to try to socialize more with people and be kinder. he is incapable of being inauthentic. he doesn’t have a crush on Arashi, therefore he would never say yes. if he did it would be such a dishonor to his characterizarion, and seeing as emotions and character building are Aina’s forte, i don’t think she’d do that. also saying yes to avoid hurting feelings/upsetting people feels like that’s more so a Souta thing to do (within reason) in summary, i don’t think Nao will say yes to Arashi, even if he thinks souta is dating Inoue

I'm thinking what might happen is that Inoue or Takeo tries to break them up again for the ferris wheel, (though Inoue might not after the last few episodes) and Souta steps in to help Arashi, like they talked about. He wants to see Nao happy and thinks that helping him get with Arashi is the best way to do that. I understand what people are saying, hoping they manage to sit together, but after his conversation with Inoue I don't think that's gonna happen unless Nao says something. Still, after the gang sabatoging Arashi all day, I think it's building up to this moment, where she finally gets Nao alone. And in all honesty, I want to see that. What I'm really hoping for is that this is the end of the Arashi arc. I think Arashi and Nao deserve a chance to openly talk about their feelings/lack thereof, and I want to see their reactions to a confession/rejection. This is what the arc has been building up to, so it's going to be a climatic moment nonetheless. Also, we're nearing the end of the volume, so it's time for a new arc, and that's either Nao dating Arashi for a volume, or whatever happens after a rejection. Nao definitely doesn't seem like the type to accept her confession against his honest feelings, I think there's a rare chance he does, but only if Souta suggests that he and Inoue sit together. Nao has grown more and more suspicious of Souta and Inoue's relationship, and he may act on that by giving up and accepting Arashi's confession, but it's ooc for him. I especially don't think he'd do that to Arashi, who he cares about as a friend, because leading her on as a way to get over Souta would be cruel. (This might just be my denial of the potential this happens, though. I can't take much more of this 😭)

Kinda feel like before she goes into the confession she’s going to give him the tickets and he’ll ask how did she manage to get t because it’s hard to get,and she’ll say the truth. Then she’ll confess her feelings and with Souta’s help she was able to get to that point and that he’s a good friend. Maybe then Nao would somewhat know why he’s been so upset or down lately. Maybe he’ll be disappointed because he was tryin to play Cupid. But who knows.
