being able to hold in all your emotions until someone asks if you're okay then you just start bawling is so real 😭 while it hurts to see him suffer, i'm glad that he's finally gonna have a good cry because he's been supressing his emotions for so long. also really happy to see sato again! i think having a third party who's completely outside of souta's usual social circle and knows nothing about nao will be great because he can provide a more objective view on the situation compared to people like keisuke or inoue

On my way out a back exit, I passed by a friend who asked me the dreaded “Are you okay?” At which point I promptly broke out in tears and told her we’d talk about it later. I know we've only seen Sato in two scenes including the current, but I love how he always notices and asks Souta about his moods. If anyone is going to give him really good advice on love it’s him since he was said to be a really popular guy and it was hinted that he has experience in the relationship department. Also, i saw a huge comment here describing how “Nao fell for Souta”. Im thinking about this — and i guess it does make sense to call it that (bc they are in fact the endgame) , but i feel like at this stage Nao wouldn’t feel it as “falling” just “getting really attached to a friend”. To be honest, author could’ve fooled me — i really thought that recently Nao really fell for Souta and been almost too openly flirty with him (the “suggestion” to kiss, to split from friend group, almost kiss in the class after circus cafe COULD’VE FOOLED ME, FRAMING AND EVERYTHING ALMOST IMPLIED THAT NAO WAS THINKING OF KISSING THE GUY-, and even him getting “jealous” at illumination!) but i guess it was an “unreliable narrator” thing - thats how Souta, our sweet lovesick fool perceived all of these mundane moments. I also thought that MAYBE Nao knew about Souta’s feelings even, at this point, and was playing a game of his own. Buuuut i guess that wasn’t the case here, and that got me genuinely surprised. This author never fails to surprise me, and i always find myself underestimating, cause the premise of the whole comic is so simple and dare i say basic. But author keeps making it goddamn interesting and i never see it coming:p They do so much with it and make it so human, to me its a masterpiece no less! Aaanyway, we finally see Nao’s position in all this, which wasn’t revealed before like ever, we are only in Souta’s head throughout this and what we got now came off as shocking to lots of us. So i think that pretty cool. So for now i don’t think Nao is feeling anything romantic towards Souta — which is very confusing to me uhhh, his reaction is very very confusing to me. It reminds me of Hasna Hana character in Blooming season webtoon(old one)— the guy also said no to bsf cause of the parent trauma tm and he just cant. Now he is not capable to give it all to relationship - and its clear to me, i understand that. But here, im quite confused with Nao - very mixed messages here my dude.
