So here’s how we know this ARC is crucial: 1. The background is blacked out. In every past chapter there’s a huge shift when the background is black. 2. Small time skip (Takas birthday is sometime between Nov-Dec as he’s a sag). 3. The concert tickets loom over us and this is what Aina has built for for the last.. I believe 4 years? It’s here. 4. In the cold hands image Nao is wearing the same jacket and boots. Stylistically Aina has changed a bit the past 2 years, hence the changes made. But they’re the same overall coat and boots. 5. In the still image in cold hands (refer to extra content featured on Patreon or Ainas insta if you haven’t seen), Souta is either cold or he has a cold. His nose is red and his undereyes are either like him being sick or he’s been crying. 6. Our girl Inoue. She’s going to slip about the concert tickets. It isn’t in Keisukes nature to reveal that but Inoue is way more likely to mention it. 7. This is finally our POV of Nao. We are going to see how he feels, fully, finally. I imagine we’ll get his the first half, then Souta’s the next half, and then we will see how they meet together. 8. Neither look happy in cold hands, but Souta looks more confused. I think Nao pulls him from either the soccer party (which he’d know where it is) or Juns party (less likely as he doesn’t know him). But as we all know, this is it guys. Now we enter the FIRST KISS ERA and an edit to add, it’s clear Nao puts his scarf on Souta. Peak romance

I never ever thought a panel with Arashi could make me giggle as much as the third panel here 😅 she's just too cute and happy and her outfit is amazing! She also got the chance to show that she noticed and cares about what's bothering Nao. I guess a reason she had to turn to Souta to learn anything about Nao, is simply that Nao is closed up (but seems like he's talked enough to her about Souta so she knew who to ask) 😅 unfortunately she still doesn't understand Nao's lack of interest in her, but I hope she realizes she deserves someone who gives her attention!

Cause the night Souta confessed, he told Inoue like, an hour prior that he was NOT going to confess cause he doesn't wanna ruin their friendship. So, unless Keisuke told her (which I doubt he would without Souta's permission) or Souta told her "off screen," she has no idea how things currently are between Souta and Nao... Aight hear me out here, I have a theory. See I dont think Nao is in any sort of denial nor he is confused or something of the sort. In fact, I believe he actually understands his feelings towards Souta pretty well, and THAT is the problem. We know our boi is traumatized by his mothers passing and the entire ordeal that is/was his family/his mothers relationship with the family. What if he is scared of crossing the line to the romantic side bc he is scared it will end up just like that? As in, what if the relationship ends and he ends up losing Souta? I believe he is actually pretty much in love too, and so strongly that hed rather keep their relationship as a “friendship” in order to maintain a specific status quo (to keep Souta by his side). Think about it, he was the one about to kiss him, but stopped himself. He never trully rejected Souta in the sense of not liking him, he never said he didn’t reciprocate. He said that hed rather have “things between them not change”. He thought that if things dont change, he and Souta would be together 4ever, B U T never realized that he not only could get jealous too! But also he could still lose Souta by what is essentially letting him go!
